Chapter 1

If you have ever been in a situation whereby you want something but you never know how to ask for it, then I think you and I should definitely be in the same shoes

Well unlike every single teenager jumping from middle school into high school, I was so excited till it was time for me to actually jump in, but wait a minute did I forget to mention that life is just another shit that is fixed on writing the way most dummies get to live their entire lives, which I basically don't agree too. I actually have a choice though, but this is where the complications start from, just on my first day coming into the new school, since my family moved into this freakishly weird town.

Hey, my name is Jackson and this is the tale I have to share of my boring high school days. Wait again it's not actually boring, but it is my story though, so you all should relax and read through.

This story all begins on my first day to the new school

Mom: Hey Jackie, you're going to be late for school and I am also going to be late for the interview. Could you please hurry it up?

Jackson: alright mom, give me a minute I would be down in no short time

Mom: thanks

Yeah, I did also forget to add that my mom was actually kicked out of her job, because she simply didn't give her boss what virtually every man wants from a woman and I am so proud she didn't, because that dude is over 70 and based on what I heard about him, he smells like a swine…. You guys reading should pardon my manners but let's check this out, I don't really fancy the idea of the move we had to make, coming over to a town. I hardly makes friends because in the previous town everyone thought I was psycho well this wasn't my fault because well there wasn't anyone sensible to talk too, everyone is always talking about how to make money and how to become some crazy a** engineer when they are done with school .

 Back to the book…

Jackson: Mom, was it really necessary for this move?

Mom: yes, my boy, so much more than you can think, I don't have the luxury of time to stay in that town and let alone work with that but you know why. I've heard so much about this town and its school and they say that there's a unique welcome style for new intake into high school

Jackson: Mom, you don't just get it, in the former school everyone thought I was a psycho and what makes you think that they wouldn't do the same in this new school?

Mom: if you keep worrying about the past, you cannot see the up plans of the future.

Jackson: that's because I don't need to see the up plans of the future, I just wished dad was here

Mom: don't talk like that my boy, I'm sure your father wouldn't like to hear you say any of those

Jackson: I'm sorry mom….

Well guys, I lost my dad over some years back. He was actually a journalist and he told me he was going to uncover the big story and if he did, he would throw me the highest birthday party, yeah typically like every other kid I was so happy and I decided to stay all through that day looking through my window waiting for him to show up but he never did. It was the next day I heard my mom over the phone talking to someone and when she had hung up from the call, she turned and looked at me and just said I should be strong, but I kept insisting to know why she had asked me to be strong, but she never wanted to stress me out with the news until mistakenly I read it on the news headline about the tragic death of my dad as he went to uncover the big story. Funny enough, I never for one day saw any of his colleagues coming to visit us like they usually did while he still walked amongst men.

…huhh huhh…

Mom: well Jackie my boy, that's your ride

Jackson: mom, I'm having a bad feeling about this

Mom: that's how it always is my boy, even on my face day going to high school

Jackson: mom I thought you once told me that on your first day to high school, you were as bold and as brave as the lion

Mom: oh, did I?? well you know what they say, mothers know best

Jackson: yeah right

Mom: yeah baby, alright I will see you later and make sure you make new friends because someday you will always need someone to talk too

Jackson: I will try and do so mom, but for now I don't think I would need to talk to anyone if not you I love you

Mom: I love you too Jackie

Now I just stepped outside the house expecting my day to go and miserable as the other times. On boarding the school bus, there was a large silence as if something really strange had just happened and it could look as if I were in some kind of slow mo reality with everyone looking too slow in my eyes. Everything was so good until I fell, just realizing that I had entered the den of aggressive bullies.

Narcho: Hey, I think you need a glass, so you could see well.

Jackson: that's just great, so this school also has this kind of kid

Everest: Narcho, that was not nice in anyway, that is no way to treat a ONE

By the way, one is what they call those joining in as a new student especially to start high school. I thought this kid was actually a nice person until he literally did the worst to me. This bigger dummy kicked my bag a distance from where I fell and I could only hear the sounds of potential classmates laughing at me.

Jackson:??????

Everest & Narcho: welcome to the club dork.

I move to a spot reserved for me by no one. Oh my God I just knew that today wouldn't be any different from the other days, so I just sat there and looked at the window throughout this fantastic journey while the other knuckle heads just kept glaring at my cute curly blond hair. After about 30-35 minutes we arrived at the school, well I would say I was very much shocked because I haven't seen a school as nice and good looking as this, where their students tend to be future terrorists . I never thought I would say this but, I fell in love with the building, but not with the students; wait were you guys expecting me to fall in love with anyone in this school after that horrible experience I just encountered on the bus, no way guys.

Announcement committee directly from the Principal's office starts yelling the usual; this is the beginning of a new academic session and we would have the general assembly to welcome the freshmen into our honorable school.

Jackson: oh, that's just great now they want to ruin my entire career by bringing me out into the open, could this day get any better?

I never knew I was standing behind one of the students in my class who was the prettiest as far as the school could tell; let me describe her beauty and how crazy it was. She was always getting lots and lots of messages while she was in her last class in middle school, because she was just too cute and let us say she was already developed in terms of her body structure, but funny enough every senior student would want to ask her out. Wait, come on guys that child abuse shouldn't someone try to call the police department because that was extremely against the laws. Her name was Sally.

Sally: if you don't want to be there, then you could pretty much hide your face because I am not sure anyone would even care less if you didn't show up

Damn, that girl is so hot; I have to acknowledge that although she just annoyed me. Wait, did I just say she is hot, oh man I did and I thought I wouldn't let you readers see that.

Jackson: well, I am sorry if I offended you with my comment

Sally:

Jethro: Bro, that's what she does right from middle school because she thinks her dad owns the town, due to the fact that he is the older brother of the mayor.

Jackson: Wow, that's a pointer.

Jethro: Hey, I am Jethro and you are?

Jackson: I'm Jackson and I am among the freshmen to arrive.

Jethro: Wow, welcome to WESTWOOD HIGH, I hope you find it pleasant.

For some reasons I wanted to say this Jethro dude seemed cool and smart, but yeah I still stick to my word; their students aren't worth it. Anyway there is a teacher in the class and I have to sit down now to listen to what he has to say.

Mr Miguel: Hello everyone, I would be your Geometry teacher and I expect every single one of you failures to advance in this class because the school has been getting lots of petitions concerning my teaching, saying I don't consider the welfare and minds of my students.

This is Mr Miguel he is one of the most annoying teachers we have and everyone seems not to understand him at all. Well they said he wasn't like this but ever since he lost his wife in an auto crash, his interactions with humans changed and it's like he has this person he usually talks too in his office. Let us get back to class. I just remembered that these two knuckleheads, Narcho and Everest are in the same class as me and they seem to have their life focused on what I do, just take for instance this happens right now in class.

Narcho: Sir, we have a new kid in our class.

Mr Miguel: I don't think I ever asked for you to tell me how to run my class dork

Hahahahahaha

'Narcho embarrassed takes his seat'

Mr Miguel: So who is the new dork that decided to join the team?

Jackson: that would be me Sir

Mr Miguel: so what is your name and why have you decided to join the den of dummies

Hey, that's not fair Sir!!!!

Mr Miguel: yeah, you're right; it's not fair for me to be teaching a bunch of losers this subject.

At this point I got furious but I just tried to hold it together, but I was not really going to do anything because I couldn't do anything

Mr Miguel: So back to you new boy, answer my questions.

Jackson: My name is Jackson Brockwood Sir and I come from Wellington town.

Mr Miguel: that's good.

Jackson: Sir, are you alright?

Mr Miguel: no I'm okay

This was really amusing to everyone because we have never seen Mr Miguel in this mood ever since his wife died. The turn of events was just really mind blowing but yet we have nothing to say because none of it had bothered us though.

After he was done with his period for the day, I decided to take a stroll outside and learn something new, let us just say maybe looking at the wonderful scenery of the school. I hadn't realized that things would go down so bad at this point; some seniors came by where I took my laps as I got tired and decided to rest.

Marco: sup new kid?

Jackson: I'm all good

Marco: where'd you pull up from?

Jackson: Wellington Town

Lucius: That's a great kid, what's your name?

Jackson: my name is Jackson

Lucius & Marco:

Jackson: Sorry, did I say something wrong?

Marco: nope, not at all

Lucius: aren't you the kid that Sally said disrespected the school

Oh my God, it was at this point that the veil of lust I felt towards Sally was completely removed and I was dumb founded.

Jackson: yeah, that was what I thought at the start of me entering because of how some students treated me way back from the bus.

Lucius: so, what are the names of those students that went all hard on our beloved new ONE

I was so happy because I thought that this dude was actually going to fight for me

Jackson: their names are Everest and Narcho

This was normally where my problem would have ended not until I heard Senior Marco bursting out with an annoying laugh.

Marco: grrhaha muhahamahh

Marco: Did you just call Narcho?

Jackson: Yeah, I did.

Marco: could I show you how to defeat those boys for life?

Jackson: yes, I would so like that

All I could see was my feet being lifted from off the grounds and I could see my head getting stuffed into the dark lights of the mouth of the bin.

Marco: never be the one to snitch on my little bro, most especially as a newbie and on your first day. Come on Lu; let's take our leave before this little squirt goes crying to mummy.

They both took off, leaving me struggling to get out of the pity wherein I saw myself.

Now I just had a feeling that I was never going to be free and most certainly I wouldn't have the chance to practice what I loved the most, which was staying all by myself. Next the bells had gone for our breaks and I noticed a great number of crowds coming outside to laugh and most, I heard the shutters of their camera's taking that moment.

Jackson: this is so embarrassing

Jethro comes running towards me to pull me out.

Jethro: Hey are you okay buddy?

Jackson: yeah, thanks so much

Jethro: it's alright bro.

So after the whole day, Jethro actually decided to walk me home and we had a really awesome gist concerning most of our classmates. Funny enough as we walked, there was this Limo that sped right passed us and all I could see was what my eyes had never ever seen before in terms of beauty. There was just this girl that looked through her windows, dull gray eyes and a fine straight brown hair; I could tell that she was completely a half cast from the looks. All I think I could remember was just a sweet smile even though I completely looked bugged

Jethro: Hey what's up?

Jackson: nothing

Jethro: I saw you, come on don't deny it

Jackson: I know you would think I am crazy but that girl is just as pretty as anything and anyone I have ever seen

Jethro: wow, I didn't know you so much liked fairy tales

Jackson: Huh, what do you mean?

Jethro: come on brother let us keep strolling home

We both parted ways at the next turns and all that I kept thinking off was the mystery girl I had seen in the limo to the extent I actually forgot that my day went rough and stupid.

At this time, I was already arriving at my house when I saw an old lady pass by and looked towards me to tell me 'the time of reckoning shall emerge and the purification of this town shall start with the ONE'. I must say at this point I got really scared and took off as fast as I could to get to my home. The strangest thing I noticed was that it looked like I was completely famished, like I had dehydrated my entire system, but nevertheless I couldn't let that old woman spoil the fantasy that I had playing in my head.
