Rise of the unawakened

Zegglar Harken is a young, unawakened mage who has been sentenced to participate in the Quest of Champions, a potentially deadly competition where contestants must clear a Calamity Keep, a unique and treacherous dungeon filled with aberrant creatures. Harken is considered an outcast and a troublemaker, having been involved in various incidents, including burning down Arena Five. He is joined by a group of misfits, including Rand Altair, a third-year student who claims to know where to find a Bestia Kyrium, a legendary ability to control beasts. Together, they must navigate the challenges of the Quest and confront their own demons to survive. Harken's past is shrouded in mystery, and his connection to the Bestia Kyrium and the Calamity Keeps is unclear, but he is determined to prove himself and uncover the truth about his family's legacy.
