I emerged from the dungeon, blinking in the bright sunlight. The golden cloak, now stored in my storage ring, still felt surreal. I couldn't believe I'd actually survived the ordeal.

As I walked towards my house right outside karydorg. I noticed a figure waiting for me in the distance. It was my mother, her eyes red from worry.

"Zag! Oh, thank the heavens you're safe!" she exclaimed, rushing towards me.

I smiled, feeling a mix of relief and guilt. "I'm sorry, Mother. I didn't mean to worry you."

My mother hugged me tightly. "I was so scared when your com link went dead. We thought we'd lost you."

I hugged her back, feeling a lump form in my throat. "I'm sorry.

My mother pulled back, looking at me sternly. "I thought i lost you! Now, let's get back home and celebrate your safe return."

As we walked back to our house I couldn't help but think about the events in the dungeon. Fragona's core, now inside me, felt strange, yet exhilarating. I wondered what powers it would grant me.

But for now, I was just happy to be alive, surrounded by my loving mother.

she is a warrior class too just like my father.

yes. My mother was worried because my dad went into a dungeon and never returned

As soon as I opened the door to my room gold coin rushed out of the room into the living area.

My mom who was still holding me screamed in shock. Using her hands to cover her mouth.

She wisphered "gold is pouring out of your room".

Reward from a dungeon that I cleared.

My mom was unsure about what sh3 had just heard. "Did you reawakened?

" No mom!

Then how did you clear a dungeon solo?

Because nobody in karydorg will pair with you. You have not been classed and your

My memory of that faithful day came

Our lived took a drastic turn for the worse. I was left with no other option but to fend and care for my only relative.

I was optimistic about changing our lives until the awakening exams came which all the children of karydorg took after reaching the age of twelve.

Once your power is decided and the level of core energy a person could utilize they were classified either as acolyte, warrior ,sage ,Saint, or God tier.

In the history of karydorg nobody has ever awakened a Saint level power or God tier on thier first try. . The highest was the warrior class which could be cultivated up to the sage level which was the limit of the majority of the elites of karydorg. The Saint had only two families in karydorg that every producing saints and after thier deaths the status of the families was still renewed in karydorg.

For my case I wasn't related to anyone who possesed even the sage class, leaving or dead. My father was a warrior class before he went missing. My mother too before she lost her mind from grief and her license was canceled after other hunters complained about her not being present while hunting.

After I failed to awakened. I decided to learn craft. Which I failed too.

So the only option left was to hunt normal beast or beasts with low magic cores.

My mother prepared food with two of the horned rabbit and we ate. after which I began to store the gold in my storage link.

It was hectic to do but I had to do it alone. It took me a week to completely get them all in my storage space.

I hadd to sell all my horned rabbits before they became bad.

It went all for fifteen thousand credits which was enough to get my mother medicine and food for me and her.

The memories of that day haunted me each night. Fragona screaming for her core and me running away. I would always wake up with a scream.

I knew fragona was dead. But the nightmares would not go away. With each passing day I grew weary from lack of sleep. But today I decided to find mor3 knowledge about the bird. And if I knew more. I would be able to help myself.

I sat the rest of the night. Looking through the libraries of karydorg. All books in karydorg were stored in a central hub for all to access. Though there are some books which can only be accessed by the elites of karydorg. These books had a red key on them. And they were eighty percent of the library.

As I scrolled through the numerous files. I prayed deep in my heart for Fragona's history to be in the general knowledge section.

It was only until noon that I saw it. A book with a picture that looked everything like fragona. Golden fleece, Sharp big beak. Giant long legs with fierce razor sharp claws that reflected the golden body of the bird.

I opened the book and began to read through. There was nothing of significance to my dream.

The only thing the book talked about was the gold. Whoever defeated a Bastian bird will be blessed with its gold. That was all Zag could surmise from the book.

Sighing he relaxed back on the soft reclining chair in his room.

Then something on his computer caught his eyes.

A two year program for those who did were not awakened. They would eventually become caddies for the awakened. Carrying thier bags and weapons in dungeons. Thier job was to also gather orbs and rare plants which will be thought at this academy.

Zeg was interested. If fate decide to pair him with someone whose future was bright then he would be fortunate and live his life in splendor.

For an unawakened like him. This was the light at the end of the tunnel. Zag squinted his tired eyes and picked up his pen to write down the date on the screen.

Zegglar harken!

The name roared through the hall as Zeg moved to the front to relieve his exam pass.

"Your name sounds familiar are you related to Xavier harken?

The man passing him the pass inquired.

Yes that's my father. Zeg answered as his eyes gleamed with pride.

"Well the bastard deserved to go missing as he did. The attendant replied with a sinister smile flashing on his face.

"Don't worry you will join him soon.
