Jade Inheritance

All cultivations have to go through the five elements and become the single element. This is why there is no such thing as 'luck at birth' – cultivating faster at the beginning means cultivating slower later on, cultivating slower earlier means being fast later on.

Smiling at her, his eyes began to shine. Suddenly, there was a voice in Yu Lingshe's head, asking in a kind tone "Are you a descendant of my ___?" he seemed to have realised she didn't hear the last part, so he changed it "Yu clan?".

Yu Lingshe was dazed for a second before quickly reacting. She bowed towards the picture very deeply as she answered, "Yu Lingshe of Blue Star's Yu Clan pays homage to the ancestor!"

The man looked at her surprised for a second "Blue star…" he murmured for a moment "Is it already past the tenth time…?" he asked, not expecting an answer anyways. He smiled once again and looked at her "You are the first direct descendant of my Yu clan in your planet for a long time, so I will give you a blessing.

Our… Yu Clan's descendants all have a Jade Root. I shall bless you with a little grace. Your first Jade Awakening will be of a higher grade, your second… your name sounds very good! Yu Lingshe bowed once again. There was lot of things she couldn't understand, but she felt as if these things were meaningful, so she kept them close at heart. Then, as the image disappeared, the crown stopped shining.

After it stopped, she reacted instantly. Her crown started pulling a mysterious power into her body, slowly pulling it from the depths of the world.

As the power entered her body through the crown, she started to feel full of energy, the ones that left her because of the earlier chant quickly replenished.

The most important thing was that there was suddenly a technique in her mind. A jade pearl, an exact replica of the one in the middle of the crown, appeared there. It passed down a technique, the "Jade Heart Sutra".
