The Terrifying Cado

"How rude... Attacking without even a warning."

Cado slowly emerged from the thick smoke, his tone calm and indifferent.

There wasn't a single scratch on him. His clothes remained spotless, untouched by even the slightest speck of dust.

Raditz looked like he had just seen a ghost. He instinctively staggered backward, his body trembling.

"This... this has to be a joke..."

He swallowed hard, his eyes filled with disbelief.

It wasn't just Cado's unscathed appearance that shocked him. He knew his previous attack wasn't at full power, but even so, it was far beyond what someone with a mere power level of five should be able to withstand.

Yet Cado had taken the attack head-on—without even a single tear in his clothing.

Was that really something a weakling could do?

Goku was equally bewildered, his mind flooded with questions.

Piccolo, watching from a distance, was just as stunned. His eyes carefully studied the mysterious young man who had suddenly appeared.

Raditz was in a full panic now. As Cado calmly stepped toward him, he instinctively leapt back, widening the distance between them.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Raditz furiously launched a barrage of energy blasts, firing relentlessly at Cado.

The attacks landed. Again and again, explosions erupted across Cado's body.

Yet his movements remained steady, unfazed.

Piccolo, now observing the fight rather than participating, swallowed hard.

"Who the hell is this guy? I don't think I've ever seen him before!"

Goku slowly pushed himself up from the ground, his wounds momentarily forgotten as he listened to the relentless explosions around him.

His heart pounded—not with fear, but with excitement.

"So strong... This guy is incredible!"

A minute passed. Raditz had poured every ounce of energy into his attacks. Now, completely exhausted, he stood in place, panting heavily.

"This... this isn't possible. Is my scouter broken?"

He gasped for breath as he frantically checked the numbers on his device.

The reading was still five. Unchanged.

"You've had your turn," Cado said nonchalantly, brushing some dust off his clothes.

The energy blasts had done nothing to him. However, the smoke had finally dirtied his once-pristine outfit.

Raditz's face turned deathly pale, sweat dripping from his forehead.

Whoosh!

He wasn't stupid. He knew now—this opponent was far beyond his ability to handle. Without hesitation, he shot into the air, his body surrounded by an explosive surge of energy as he tried to escape.

Hmph!

Cado snorted in disdain.

There was no way he was letting Raditz get away.

If this were any other day, he might have ignored him. But with his current mission at stake—and the future of his training on the line—letting Raditz escape was simply not an option.

Cado raised a single finger.

A beam of energy shot forward, piercing through the sky.

Raditz had barely covered any distance before he heard the terrifying sound of something slicing through the air behind him.

His eyes widened in horror. He twisted his body mid-flight, trying to see what was coming.

Too late.

"Aaaaaah!"

With one final scream, Raditz was engulfed in the blast. His body was obliterated mid-air, disintegrating into nothingness.

His presence vanished entirely from the battlefield.

Piccolo stood frozen, his brain struggling to process what had just happened.

'What the hell?!'

'Where did this monster come from?'

This guy had just instantly wiped out the same Raditz that both he and Goku had struggled against.

Goku, on the other hand, was thrilled. His eyes sparkled with excitement.

'This guy is amazing! I have to fight him!'

Meanwhile, Cado wasn't paying attention to either of them. A familiar voice had just echoed in his mind.

Ding!

The moment the system's message ended, Cado felt an indescribable power surging through his body.

His energy skyrocketed, growing exponentially with every passing second.

Even the plants and trees around him trembled from the sheer force radiating from his body.

"This... This energy... It's terrifying!"

Piccolo had unconsciously moved closer to Goku, his voice shaking.

Goku, too, was stunned. Even though he knew Cado was strong, he hadn't expected this.

The overwhelming pressure in the air made it clear—this power was on a completely different level. Something beyond anything Goku had ever felt before.

For the first time, he felt a shiver of fear.

But more than that... he felt excitement.

Cado, meanwhile, was caught up in his own thoughts, overwhelmed by the surge of power within him.

'This is insane... This feeling... It's incredible!'

He could sense it—his strength had more than quintupled. If he had to guess, his power level had now reached 50,000.

Compared to a moment ago, he was a completely different being.

"D-Dad... Dad!"

A small, trembling voice interrupted his thoughts.

Cado turned his head, spotting a tiny figure running toward them.

Somehow, Gohan had managed to escape from the space pod.

The young boy was visibly shaken, his eyes filled with tears. Without hesitation, he flung himself into Goku's arms, sobbing loudly.

Goku smiled, relieved, as he gently patted his son's back.

Cado watched the scene in silence.

Piccolo, however, remained on edge. His body was tense, and his eyes darted between Goku and Cado, unsure of what to expect next.

They still didn't know if Cado was friend or foe. And after witnessing his strength, Piccolo wasn't taking any chances.

"Hahaha! Who are you? I've never seen you before! But wow, you're really strong!"

Goku, completely unfazed, carried Gohan over to Cado, his expression filled with curiosity and excitement.

"I'm Cado." he replied with a small smile. "I was training nearby when I sensed your battle. I decided to come check it out... and figured I might as well lend a hand."

It wasn't exactly a lie. Though, of course, if not for the system's rewards, he wouldn't have gotten involved in the first place.

After all, he wasn't the main character here. He had no plot armor to protect him.

"Then... can I train with you?! Or better yet—can we fight?!"

Goku grinned, his eagerness impossible to contain.

Cado looked at the Saiyan before him, his childlike enthusiasm clear as day.

He sighed and slowly shook his head.
