"Huh?"
Goku looked at Cado's reaction, visibly disappointed.
He lived for battle, and with Cado being so strong, it felt like a waste not to challenge him. It went against everything his warrior spirit stood for.
"My name is Cado. As for training together, I can't promise that, but if it's just a few sparring matches, I don't mind entertaining you," Cado said with a confident smile.
He had always admired Goku as a character—kind-hearted and noble. Though not the most responsible family man, he had a clear sense of justice. Even former enemies, if they changed their ways and proved themselves, could earn his forgiveness and trust.
"Really!?"
Goku was surprised, his face lighting up with excitement.
Even though he was married now, his hunger to grow stronger hadn't faded in the slightest.
Cado simply nodded in acknowledgment, smiling at Goku.
"Alright, then—"
But before he could finish, he winced in pain.
The excitement had momentarily made him forget his injuries. As soon as he tried to move, his body reminded him harshly of its current state.
Cado chuckled and shook his head. "You should wait until you heal before thinking about fighting again."
He understood Goku well. If it meant getting stronger, he would endure any hardship. But with his current injuries, fighting was out of the question for now.
"Hehe," Goku scratched his head sheepishly, then turned to Piccolo. "What about you, Piccolo? I know you won't be satisfied with this either!"
"Hmph!"
Piccolo scoffed, turning his head away.
His pride had taken a huge hit today. Despite teaming up with Goku, they had failed to defeat Raditz. And now, someone even stronger had appeared out of nowhere, making him feel even more powerless.
"Cado, huh? Fine, I'll remember you! You're strong, but one day, I'll defeat you myself! Mark my words!"
With that, Piccolo turned, gathered energy around him, and took off into the sky.
Cado simply shook his head with a faint smile.
With the legendary Super Saiyan bloodline now coursing through him, he was on an entirely different level. Even Goku, the protagonist of this world, would have a hard time catching up to him, let alone Piccolo.
"Haha, don't mind him, Cado. Piccolo's always like that, but deep down, he's not a bad guy," Goku said with a grin.
Their relationship had changed after this battle. Former bitter enemies, they now had a mutual respect for each other.

Far off in deep space, on an unnamed planet, Vegeta and Nappa sat by a roaring fire, tearing into massive chunks of roasted meat.
"Raditz is dead. Got taken out in one blow..." Nappa said casually.
He showed no emotion over their fallen comrade, as if merely stating a trivial fact.
"Hmph, trash is trash. But I didn't expect that backwater planet to have someone strong enough to kill him." Vegeta said coldly.
He had no concern for Raditz's fate. If you were weak, you died. That was the Saiyan way.
Not that it mattered much—Nappa alone could have killed Raditz effortlessly.
"Yeah, Raditz was just a low-class warrior. Who cares if he's dead?" Nappa said indifferently, taking another bite of meat.
"Heh, true. But according to his last transmission, that planet—Earth—is apparently a nice place to live. Might be worth taking over. Could sell for a good price too..." Vegeta mused, tossing a bone aside.
"We don't have much going on right now anyway. Why not pay them a visit? Maybe have some fun with this Cado guy while we're at it." Nappa smirked.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes, gazing toward the vast expanse of space in the direction of Earth.
As the proud Prince of the Saiyans, he considered himself the pinnacle of their race. Even Frieza, the so-called ruler of the universe, was nothing more than a stepping stone in his eyes.
But the idea of someone on a low-level planet being strong enough to kill Raditz intrigued him. He wanted to see this Cado for himself.
Unaware of the existence of the Dragon Balls, their plans still aligned with the original course of events.
Without wasting time, they boarded their pods, locked in their destination, and launched toward Earth.

Back on Earth, Cado and Goku were laughing and chatting after their battle.
Suddenly, Cado's mind was interrupted by a familiar sound.
Ding!
[Warning: Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa will invade Earth in one year. Host, please make a choice!]
[Choice 1: Avoid the battle, stay out of it.
Reward: Spirit Bomb technique]
[Choice 2: Kill Nappa and Vegeta, become Earth's protector.
Reward: Controlled Great Ape transformation.]
[Choice 3: Defeat Vegeta but let him leave, preserving the storyline.
Reward: Perfected 10x Kaioken without side effects.]
Cado froze for a moment.
Even though his presence had altered the timeline, the Saiyans were still coming.
After considering his options, he made his decision.
'I choose Option 3.'
Ding!
[Choice confirmed: Defeat Vegeta and let him go.]
[Once completed, the reward will be distributed automatically.]
A smirk crept onto Cado's face.
The Spirit Bomb? Too impractical—too long to charge, too dependent on external energy.
Not his style.
Controlled Great Ape transformation? Useful, sure, but he cared about aesthetics, and turning into a giant, hairy beast wasn't exactly appealing.
But a perfected 10x Kaioken with no drawbacks? That was tailor-made for him.
The only downside? The challenge of beating Vegeta but not killing him. That would take precision.
He chuckled to himself, shaking his head.
"Cado! Cado!"
Goku waved his hand in front of Cado's face, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Huh?"
"My friends are here!" Goku pointed up at the sky.
Cado followed his gaze.
A massive aircraft descended from the clouds, slowly landing nearby.
"Goku! Goku!"
A panicked voice rang out as a bald man sprinted toward them.
"Krillin! I'm over here!" Goku called out, holding Gohan in his arms and waving excitedly.
Cado smiled. Things were about to get even more interesting.
