Saibamen

The three of them tensed up as they watched six monstrous creatures emerge from the ground.

The Saibamen cracked their knuckles, eyeing their prey with sinister delight.

"Looks like we'll have to deal with them first!"

Krillin's gaze suddenly sharpened.

Vegeta and Nappa, on the other hand, simply looked at the scene with amusement.

With power levels around 1,200, these Saibamen should make short work of their opponents.

Just as Krillin was about to make a move, three figures suddenly descended from the sky.

"Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu! You're here!"

Krillin's face lit up with joy as he called out to them excitedly.

"Of course! We can't let you hog all the glory!" Yamcha laughed.

Tien and Chiaotzu also smiled and nodded in agreement.

Piccolo, however, merely observed them coldly. Deep down, he had little regard for these newcomers.

"Hmph, more trash to dispose of," Vegeta said indifferently, showing no reaction to the scouter readings.

None of them had a power level exceeding 1,500—not enough to warrant his concern.

After brief greetings, everyone got into position, staring down their enemies.

"Kill them."

Nappa sneered as he gave the order.

The Saibamen didn't wait for a fair fight; they rushed in all at once.

"Hah! You think a bunch of weaklings like you can kill me? Dream on!"

Piccolo stood tall, exuding confidence. There was no way he'd fall to mere grunts.

The battle erupted.

Rather than one-on-one duels, the scene quickly devolved into chaotic skirmishes. Dust filled the air, and explosions echoed nonstop.

After a year of intense training, everyone had improved significantly.

Surprisingly, they were holding their ground against the Saibamen.

Vegeta, watching the battle, raised an eyebrow.

He had expected an easy slaughter—after all, these Saibamen were as strong as Raditz.

Yet here they were, struggling. The humans weren't just holding their own; they were pushing the Saibamen back.

Boom!

With a powerful blast, Piccolo finished off his opponent first.

Then, his eyes shifted to Gohan, who was struggling.

In an instant, he flashed over, grabbing the Saibaman's thin arm and flinging it skyward.

A beam of energy shot from his mouth, striking the airborne creature dead-on.

The Saibaman was reduced to ashes.

"Your technique is still too sloppy. You'll die if you keep fighting like that."

Piccolo spoke calmly.

"Yes, Uncle Piccolo! I'll be more careful!"

Gohan nodded earnestly, grateful for the save.

With renewed focus, the others quickly finished off their respective opponents.

"That's it? I thought they'd be tougher."

Yamcha turned toward Krillin, a smirk on his face.

"Watch out!"

Krillin's warning came too late.

One of the fallen Saibamen, merely pretending to be dead, suddenly sprang up and latched onto Yamcha.

Boom!

The Saibaman self-destructed.

By the time Krillin rushed over, a small crater had formed in the ground.

Yamcha lay within it, motionless. His energy was gone.

"Damn it! Bastard!"

Krillin fell to one knee, his voice trembling with anger.

Fingers digging into the dirt, he stared at Yamcha's lifeless body, grief and rage welling up inside him.

Yamcha had been his fellow disciple, and now he was dead. The fury in his chest burned uncontrollably.

Tien stood frozen, taking in the scene. Then, he let out a quiet sigh of sorrow.

Though he hadn't known Yamcha for long, they were comrades. His death left an undeniable ache in his heart.

"Heh, you guys actually put up a fight."

Nappa's expression darkened. He was done playing around.

He had expected the Saibamen to finish the job.

Instead, they had been wiped out, though at least one of them had managed to take someone down with them.

"Prince Vegeta, leave the rest to me."

Nappa grinned wickedly.

Vegeta remained silent. He knew Nappa's strength. Once he joined the fight, this battle would be over.

Rumble!

A terrifying energy surged from Nappa's body.

The ground shook violently.

The very air itself trembled as a powerful shockwave swept across the battlefield.

Gale-force winds howled through the mountains, forcing the warriors to brace themselves.

"So this... is the power of a Saiyan..."

Tien struggled to keep his three eyes open, his voice filled with dread.

It was his first time witnessing a true Saiyan's strength—and it was terrifying.

Even Piccolo, the strongest among them, couldn't stop his body from trembling.

He had been so confident before. How laughable. Thinking he could take them on alone?

What a joke.

Krillin's desire for revenge was crushed beneath the overwhelming pressure.

There was nothing he could do.

Nappa was simply too strong.

Despair settled over the group as the howling winds finally died down, leaving Nappa standing there, his aura dominating the battlefield.

"So, who wants to die first?"

His gaze swept over them like a predator toying with its prey.

No one moved. The suffocating pressure pinned them in place.

"Hmph. Trash will always be trash."

Vegeta shook his head, glancing at them with disdain.

Piccolo, his pride wounded, took a bold step forward.

"I'll—"

"Sorry to keep you all waiting!"

Before Piccolo could finish, a bright and cheerful voice shattered the tense atmosphere.

"Who's there?!"

Nappa snapped his head around, scanning his surroundings.

Vegeta also turned, searching for the source of the voice.

"No need to look around. I'm right above you."

Everyone instinctively looked up.

"It's Mr. Cado!"

Krillin exclaimed, his face lighting up with hope.

Piccolo let out a quiet sigh of relief—only for shame to quickly follow.

For all his arrogance, he now needed someone else to save them.

"So this is the powerful warrior I've heard about?"

Tien stared at Cado intently, curiosity burning in his mind.

He had never seen Cado before, and now that he had appeared out of nowhere, he was eager to see what he was capable of.

"Hmph. I thought it was someone strong, but it's just another weakling."

Nappa glanced at his scouter and scoffed.

Cado, feeling the weight of their gazes, slowly descended to the ground.

He looked at the two Saiyans in front of him and spoke calmly:

"You two can come at me together."
