I once believed Seraphina loved me, but it seems she doesn't either.
I've wandered aimlessly through life.
The only thing I could hold onto.
It seems to be just chess.
Seraphina called out my name.
"Melody. Melody."
I woke up in a daze.
Seraphina tried to put the necklace in her hand around my neck.
But my body had no strength.
I couldn't even sit up. Seraphina finally started to panic.
Her voice carried a hint of desperation.
She could only curl up against my shoulder and whisper painfully.
"Melody, Melody. Can you sit up a little? Can I put this necklace on you?"
But I was so tired, I could only hear Seraphina crying out beside me.
I struggled to open my eyes.
Seraphina seemed to see salvation.
"Melody, it's okay. You'll live to be a hundred, and we'll always be together."
I'm exhausted.
Seraphina, I don't want to live to a hundred with you.
If I lived another lifetime, I wouldn't want to see you again.
