In the midst of an ordinary school day at Goro High, Hiroshi and Nagi’s peaceful lives are shattered by a catastrophic event. As society crumbles, Hiroshi witnesses the brutal death of his girlfriend at the hands of the monsters. Meanwhile, Nagi, Hiroshi's best friend, undergoes a profound transformation. A divine presence offers him extraordinary power, marking him as one of the seven "Awakeners" chosen by the gods to fight back against the monsters. As Nagi embraces his newfound abilities, Hiroshi, fueled by a deep, burning resolve, awakens his own hidden power in a moment of sheer determination. With a single, explosive strike, he defeats the monster that nearly killed him, realizing that he too has become one of the few capable of standing against the creatures that threaten humanity’s survival.



As the world falls into chaos, the Awakeners—powerful individuals granted god-like abilities—must rise to face the monsters. A new system classifies these creatures, from the weakest to the most terrifying, and the Awakeners are ranked by their strength, from E Rank to the nearly mythical Saint Rank. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, Hiroshi and Nagi, along with their fellow Awakeners, must adapt to this new reality, grow stronger, and prepare for the ultimate battle against the creatures that have brought the world to the brink of extinction.
