What the hell is this?!

After leaving the city and walking for a while, Jeremy called Drae'mon.

"Finally," said Jeremy, hugging the skeleton, "I missed you."

After this brief moment, Jeremy decided to equip the new outfit he had bought. It was a very simple piece of equipment, Rank F. The complete set simply increased magical damage by 5%.

It wasn't much, but it would make a difference, especially considering his very high stats.

"Finally home," said Jeremy as he entered the Nyx Forest. "This place strangely missed me."

"Well, let's not waste time," he continued, scanning the horizon. "It's time to enter the Inner Zone, but first—"

After running at full speed, Jeremy, with his perception now functioning without any limitations, easily found what he was looking for.

A Razorfang nest was right in front of him. There were many Rank F monsters, dozens of Rank E, and three Rank D.

"Now things are getting interesting," the boy smiled, looking at the skeleton. "Before we had to fight hard to defeat even one, but now..."

"Let's go in and see how they welcome us."

And so, only a few seconds later, piercing screams echoed throughout the forest. The monsters rushed toward the duo. The first were Rank F, as if testing the waters. Soon after, the Rank E came. The three Rank D stood still, watching the scene, completely unbothered. But then—

"Bone Spear"

Two lances, made entirely of bone, appeared out of nowhere. They began to rotate around Jeremy at incredible speed, slicing through every monster that came close.

"7 exp gained"

"10 exp gained"

"500 exp gained"

The monsters were mowed down without regard for their rank. Each spear was capable of dealing at least 1700 damage to monsters of its own rank and at least double that to Rank F monsters.

"Luckily, they move on their own," said Jeremy, watching his Bone Spears move with a mastery that was beyond him.

Unlike before, the Bone Spears were no longer a projectile skill, which disappeared after use. They had become something else.

"Devastating," he thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Drae'mon stood still. He wasn't interested in these weaklings. His eyes were fixed on the three Rank D monsters behind.

As soon as they saw the devastation unfolding before them, they roared and charged toward Jeremy, but the skeleton was faster and intercepted them.

Were they strong? Average.

Jeremy certainly wasn't afraid to let Drae'mon play 1v3.

"Good luck, Drae'mon," Jeremy smiled as he watched the skeleton head toward the three. "But first of all…"

"Skeleton Domain"

A dark aura radiated from the young man. Everyone felt it, and the three beasts flinched. But the ability wasn't directed at them.

The one directly affected, Drae'mon, emanated an aura entirely different from before. His eyes, once blue, were now a brilliant red.

He was in brutal killing mode.

His damage was doubled, after all.

And so, moving at a speed invisible to the three using his Dash ability, the skeleton latched onto one of the beasts and executed his brutal combo.

Taking advantage of the fact that the beasts were focused on Jeremy, Drae'mon's surprise attack struck successfully.

Using the Ferocious Bite skill, a powerful strike crushed the neck of the first Razorfang—

"-9100*"

"-404"

Then the Poisonous Claw right into one of its eyes—

"-5400*"

"-190"

His combo, already devastating, dealt double the damage thanks to Jeremy's ability. There was simply no escape for these beasts.

The beast was paralyzed by pain. It couldn't even let out a scream. The other two Razorfang, seeing the scene, stood frozen in terror.

They hadn't expected one of them to be reduced to that state in just one second.

But as if that wasn't enough, that brief moment of hesitation from their beastly companions cost the life of the one already struck.

Drae'mon's fangs never left their grip on the enemy's neck, continuing to bite down again and again, using his claws to crush the skull.

"-1800"

"-404"

"-190"

"-1800"

One more second passed, and the beast died without even knowing how.

The other two beasts still hadn't recovered from the scene. They were still frozen, completely in shock.

Meanwhile, the Razorfang attacking Jeremy stopped their assault. They were scared too.

Of course, there were only two left, so Jeremy simply launched his Bone Spears toward their heads, which exploded like watermelons.

The remaining two Rank D Razorfang wanted to flee, but they knew they couldn't. So, they fought with all their might… for another six seconds.

"It was so incredibly easy…" Jeremy was stunned. "And to think we struggled so much to fight a simple Rank D level 21."

"Well, we are Apex after all. I shouldn't be so surprised."

After clearing the battlefield, Jeremy took one of the Rank D lv30 carcasses. His goal was clear, to create another undead.

But not just anyone; he wanted to create a Chimera composed of the three types of monsters from the outer forest.

But there was one problem.

"How on earth am I supposed to fit this monster into my 1m3 ring?"

The monster was about two meters big; it was not possible for it to fit inside.

"Should I drag it?" pondered Jeremy "That wouldn't be a bad idea, Drae'mon would take care of it anyway..."

As he was thinking about what to do, an idea-

"What if I cut his body into pieces?" the glow of his eyes covered the absurd scene that unfolded before the skeleton.

A boy, holding the fangs of one of the Rank Ds he had just killed, was cutting up the corpse of a beast.

He needed certain parts, not the whole body.

And so, he began to take off the head, followed by the hind legs and the torso. This was what he needed.

He stored the parts and proceeded to other areas.

---

After hours of hard work, Jeremy had finally gathered what he needed.

He had hunted down the Ailurus, destroying them without a problem, and then moved on to the Putorius, who died in a truly absurd way.

They didn't even have time to realize what was happening before they were bitten and killed in record time.

Their bodies like paper as they were ripped open and torn apart by Drae'mon's sharp claws.

"Good," Jeremy said as he looked at the corpse pieces on the ground, "Now that I have all the pieces we can move on to assembly."

A fanatical look filled his face. He no longer looked like the boy he used to be. He looked like a psychopath.

He took the pieces one by one and assembled them, carefully treating each part.

The head and the muscular hind legs belonged to the Razorfang. As for the front paws, one was full of claws, belonging to the Ailurus, while the left paw, more normal, belonged to the Putorius.

As for the torso, Jeremy had thought it through. He had difficulty choosing one of the three; each had its own advantages.

So... he chose all three.

He carefully cut out the parts and made a work of art out of them. The back half of the torso was composed entirely of the Ailurus, while the front half was divided into two parts in a totally unconventional way.

The outer part was composed of the Razorfang bust, while the inner part was composed of the Putorius.

"Beautiful," nodded Jeremy, looking at his creation, "It is a masterpiece, I don't know if I will be able to recreate such a masterpiece in the future."

Drae'mon to the side also looked visibly shocked.

"Now," Jeremy said in a serious tone, "The finishing touch, Summon Undead."

Then-

The mana poured inside the construct, which began to rise.

The pieces seemed to come to life, hooking together as if they had always been part of the same organism.

Flesh began to rot, blood poured out as if from a fountain. A dark energy began to pour inside whatever it was, and a guttural roar shook the whole place.

After that

"Shit-"

An explosion of flesh and blood, like a deafening roar, filled every part of Jeremy.

The surreal scene seemed almost funny.

Seen from behind Jeremy appeared as normal as ever, but in front he was a hodgepodge of hallucinatory stuff. Bits of flesh, blood, intestines, viscera. Everything was attached to him as if glued together.

But Jeremy did not even have time to vomit because in front of him a meaningless creation had appeared.

Not all the flesh had disappeared from the aberration, there was some left everywhere.

Half of the flesh on its head, some of it covered certain areas of its torso, while more flesh still covered its legs.

It was not supposed to exist....

It was just-

"An Aberration," muttered Jeremy.

The aberration stood there on two legs. His height had exceeded two meters. Everything about him screamed danger, from the fangs in his mouth to the tips of his toes.

His arms were different. One left arm ended in a super-sharp claw, looking almost like a blade; the right, on the other hand, had five fingers, like Jeremy.

The paws looked powerful, with muscles pulsing here and there.

But the thing that most impressed Jeremy was his chest. It seemed to glow.

In fact, Jeremy had added a nice touch to the end of it all. He had inserted all the D-grade cores of the killed beasts inside the carcass torso.

"What on earth have I created," Jeremy said excitedly.

"Name your summoning."
