Part 37: Dancing Juice

Pooja and Simran noticed Meera deep in thought. They exchanged a contented glance.

“Meera, what are you thinking about? You often seem lost in your thoughts. Why is that?” Pooja asked.

“I’m thinking about Mamiji,” Meera replied.

“What happened to her? Is she alright?” Pooja inquired.

“Oh? Caring about your mother-in-law now?” Simran teased, nudging Pooja playfully.

“Come on, tell me, Meera,” Pooja insisted.

“Do you know about Mamiji's lost daughter?” Meera asked.

“Yeah, I heard about her long ago,” Pooja said.

“Lost daughter? Oh my God,” Simran exclaimed.

“Yes. Poor Mamiji is still mourning her daughter,” Meera said sadly.

“When did it happen?” Simran asked.

“Fifteen years ago, during the Kumbh Mela,” Meera replied.

“How do you know about it?” Pooja inquired.

“I saw her crying. That’s when Rahulji told me the story. How does it really feel?” Meera asked, feeling miserable.
