Chapter 3: Testing Titles

Noah had just arrived and he could already tell something was wrong, the whole area was immersed in dark, angry energy. It felt familiar, to familiar. He recalled he made a deal with someone called the Shadowman long ago that had a similar aura. but now it was bigger and hungry as if it was searching for something to corrupt.

Noah hadn't came alone, beside him was Kami, a demigod he picked up in his travels. Kami had agreed to be Noah's apprentice but had no idea what he was getting himself into. Noah docked the boat and then he felt two other divine presences. It was Sekro and Zaros. His past rivals, he had fought both of them in the past. Zaros was his sworn enemy at one time and he and Sekro had crossed blade on more than one occasion. This couldn't be good he thought as he barked at Kami.

"Kami gets behind me, and don't make a move unless i tell you too." Kami stood there looking at the two potential enemies.

"I can fight Noah, just say the word and ill kill them faster than they can think." Kami said confidently.

"Lesson one, do not ever underestimate your enemy. These two would kill you before you moved. Do as i say." Noah said harshly as he jumped out of the boat and faced Zaros and Sekro.

"What do you want?" Noah asked

"Whoa calm down Noah, we don't want to fight. Were here to make sure this strange energy isn't coming from you." Sekro said beckoning Noah to calm down.

"Well obviously its not coming from me, i felt it as soon as a docked. The entire landscape is brimming with evil energy, tell me what's happened since ive been gone?"

Zaros began to tell Noah what has been happening.

"Eros's energy has completely disappeared, its like hes dead, The 3 Kings have also gone silent. I can feel their power but its like they are distracted, and lastly Gabriel was attacked but we don't know by who."

"So let me get this straight. Eros, the leader and creator of the School of Magic just disappeared as if he's dead, The most sought and depended on Titans of the land have also disappeared. and Gabriel was attacked. And instead of investigating these disappearances, you come here to make sure it wasn't me." Noah said as he put his head in his hand visibly disappointed.

Just as Zaros went to reply a portal opened up in between them. Asriel fell out smoking and burnt. Blood coming from his mouth, he managed to close the portal with a weak flick of his hand and collapsed fully, barely breathing.

They all rushed over, almost tripping over each other. Noah healed him with his blood magic sealing his burns and wounds.

"What happened?" Sekro asked as he looked around. How in the hell did The God of Hell get burnt he thought as Noah has healed him up for the most part, he got up. Still weak and hurting he said.

"Mavon...he hit me with something...some kind of black fire. It nearly killed me,"

"Why would a member of the 3 Kings attack you? They usually aren't that aggressive." Noah said as he personally spoke from experience. As Asriel went to answer the sky suddenly darkened, bloating out the sun entirely. A voice boomed over the docks.

"Well it seems some rats escaped my sight." As a portal opened up and out stepped Mavon.

"You all have a choice, you can join me and live or die here and now. The Primordials rule will be challenged. Those who do not join my cause will be considered the enemy." As he looked down at Noah, Zaros, Sekro and Noah waiting for an answer.

Meanwhile above Draznkal', the sky lit up with bolts of lightning and rumbling thunder as Madras clashed with Dagon.

"How did you even get here? You were supposed to be dead when our old timeline got destroyed." Madras said as he dodged a wide swing and shot a blast of lightning at Dagon gaining distance.

Dagon got up slowly then replied.

"When you and your brothers disappeared, Dragos died without you as a vessel. All that was left was that psycho Shiva and me. Things were okay for a while but then you guys showed back up but this time you wasn't alone. I watched him effortless obliterate Shiva. A being who i thought was the absolute peak of power effortlessly destroyed before my very eyes! But then he held his hand up and then boom I'm here in a foreign land. But then i was approached by someone named The Shadowman who claimed he needed my skills at his side. that was nearly century ago. So here I am." Dagon said steading his weapon.

Madras looked at Dagon with unease, had he really witnessed Astros unravel the timeline?

"I was under the impression he only spared me and my brothers." As Dagon flung his blade at Madras who just ducked. But it was a fake out, as Dagon appeared behind Madras stabbing him in the back.

"I guess you guys aren't so special after all." Dagon said as he ripped his blade from his chest. Madras's lightning fluttered, eyes wide with pain.

But before he fell fully a blinding light came searing down from the sky and landed beside Madras knocking back Dagon. Madras looked up, It was Gabriel. As he put his hand up to the sky madras closed his eyes thinking this is the end. Instead he felt a high pitched zip run through the air and he looked around. They were in Gabriels temple.

"Guess i gotta clean up your mess huh?" as he teleported away.

Back in Draznkal' Gabriel appeared back to finish the fight. Now wearing his destroyer armor.

"IM THE ONE YOU WANT, GOD SLAYER!" Gabriel yelled as he landed shaking the entire ruined castle with his presence.

I'm still damaged from Madras's attack but my armor should keep up were I'm lacking he thought.

"Two birds, one stone" Dagon said as he lunged at Gabriel .

"Boy you have no idea of the fight your in for." as he disappeared from sight, then appearing besides Dagon his fist smashing Dagon's head clean off. Gabriel shook the blood off his hand when Dagon's body twitched. his head grew back as if it was never touched.

"I'm immortal dumbass, if I were you I'd worry about protecting myself rather than cleaning!" As Dagon snarled and rushed forward swinging his blade at Gabriel's chest but upon contact, it disintegrated into dust that got carried off with the wind.

"Next time you rush someone, be sure to know your opponent." As he kicked Dagon in the chest sending him flying through the old ruins.
