Chapter 7: Leaving the Forest

Opening his eyes Angel yawned feeling refreshed from a good night's sleep. He gets up and stretched his body. His stomach started to growl.

"I should find something to eat"

Starting to look around he starts to forage for anything he could eat. Once he fed on some berries and mushrooms he found, Angel starts on his journey again.

Boom! Bang!Rumble…

Suddenly he sees an explosion followed by a tremor around him. Getting near where the explosion came from he picked up two life signals within in his range . From what he felt one was human the other beast.

'Finally I found another human in this place.' He thought deciding to get closer to get a good look.

When he could finally see the fight it was already over. On the ground was a bear the size of an SUV lying on the ground. Standing in font of the bear was a red haired man drenched in blood with a spear in his hand. This man had an orange aura him. The man cut open the bears stomach and pulled out what seemed to be a spirit core.

'He looks kinda scary I think I'll keep my distance and follow him.'

Angel decided not interact with the person who just killed a spirit beast many times stronger that bird he had killed.

Staying a distance of 75 meters he could track the man perfectly with his spatial perception without being caught.

Following the man he saw him go around killing a couple of spirit beast while collecting cores.

'How is he able to find so many spirit beast when I've only run into two?' Angel questioned his methods.

Hours later after following him for so long the strange man finally led Angel out of the forest to a road. Angel decided to wait for the man get way ahead up the road before he started to follow.

Finally after waiting a couple minutes Angel followed the road and 20 minutes later he sees a large fence that seemed to cover the whole perimeter of the forest. On the path of the road leading up to the fence there was a passageway guarded by four armed men with swords.

Angel started debating with himself.

'Should I go maybe they can help me it's better than staying and living in a forest forever.'

'Don't feel like wiping my butt with leaves again so yeah I'm just going to risk it and go up to them.'

Strolling up to the guarded passageway Angel raises his hands to show he means no harm. Seeing the boy approaching with his hands raised the men guarding the passageway pulled out their swords and pointed them forward.

Angel approached slowly and when he was 5 meters from them he said "Hello guys I'm kind of lost and need help finding my way home."

Hearing him speak the guards looked confused. One of them asked something in a language that Angel had never heard.

"Yeah sorry don't know what your saying." He said while shrugging his shoulders to let them know he didn't understand them.

Taking a step forward towards Angel a black haired guard with a scar on his face summoned a small orb from his ring. Handing the orb to Angel who grabbed it. He spoke again.

"Who are you kid and why were you in a danger zone?"

Angel shocked that he was able to suddenly understand him answered back.

"My name is Angel and I went through a teleportation gate and ended up here."

"Nice to meet you Angel I'm Faelix where were you heading to? "

"I don't know I was kidnapped and they were transferring me through a gate." he lied a little.

"Traffickers huh sorry to here that, what country are you from?"

"Atlantis" he lied again

"Hmm I've never heard of Atlantis you must be from another continent." Said the Faelix pondering

"What continent are we on?" Asked Angel

"We are on the continent known as Silvaria, the nearest continents are Tel'amar, Caelum, and Veilos."

"Sorry I never heard of those places before." said Angel looking helpless

"It's alright this world is huge, filled with many continents."

"Well only cities have teleportation gates so if you need to find where to go, best place would be Aurora City near here."

"How do I get there?." asked Angel

"There's an airship that brings Mercenaries to the base near here you can wait there and then get a ride to the city."

Agreeing to the offer Angel is escorted by Faelix to a fortress that seemed to be very advanced canons and many men covering the perimeter.

"So what do mercenaries do." Asked Angel
