Love for oneself, from the beginning of life to its end, should be eternal and unchanging.

I think I may have found the answer.

The day before I left, I sent a message to Kael.

As I exited the ticket gate, I immediately spotted Kael in the crowd, also looking around.

I excitedly waved at him, running towards him with my bags in hand.

He chuckled and strode towards me as well.

Due to our momentum, we collided in a full embrace, and my bags fell to the ground.

"So eager, huh? Did you miss me?" Kael's mouth was faster than his brain, and he couldn't take it back once he realized what he'd said.

Meeting my smiling eyes, he awkwardly averted his gaze.

I steadied his head, correcting his line of sight, and answered very seriously, "Yes, I did."

I had figured it out. I wanted to try starting a new relationship, not out of a desire to escape my previous failed relationship.
