I kicked him down, shouting, "Your mom's in the mental hospital. Go see her yourself if you want your mom!"
He crouched on the ground, crying even louder. I was beyond irritated, grabbing my car keys and heading for the door.
I had no idea where I was going, driving aimlessly. When I finally came to my senses, the car was already parked at the cemetery.
After hesitating for a moment, I decided to go in.
Before entering, a kindly old man poked his head out from the security booth.
"Sir, are you planning to stay overnight?"
The question seemed out of the blue, and I didn't know how to respond.
The old man continued with a cheerful smile, "You see, a while back, a young lady spent the night here and caught a cold afterward."
"Since then, we've kept a few blankets on hand. If you're staying overnight, I'll grab one for you."
I don't remember what I said, but when I came to, I was standing in front of Melody's grave, holding a blanket.
