Ryan:
“You really did it this time.” Dan sits relaxed in front of me. “I know you’ve blocked Hunter from every means of communication. But here I am to bring you some news about what your little number caused. He’s been officially kicked out of the family business and his dad is changing his will to leave him without a penny. Word on the street is he was planning to sue us, but no one wants the case because the contract he signed with us leaves no room for a case, we never breached any clause of it. So, he’s getting desperate. Brad told me he saw Hunter wooing a rich widow in their country club.”
I couldn’t help it. A laud laughter leaves my body. God, this is hilarious. My body is shaking from laughing and my stomach is actually starting to hurt because of it. Whoever said revenge is not the answer definitely didn’t do it right.
“Let’s see how he likes being poor for a change.” I comment, after calming down a bit.
“You are pure evil. At least you’re enjoying yourself for a change.”
“Yeah, well, can’t help to be happy when everything is running exactly as I planned.”
“Just hope is worth it, that’s all.”
“It is, believe me.”
“Good. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a blind date. Again. My mother is relentless in getting me married before I turn 35.” Dan’s mother is a pain in his ass. He loves her, of course, and that’s why he goes to every single one of these blind dates.
“And I’m sure you’re tired of all that female company.” Sarcasm drips from my words and he laughs at them.
“Oh, how well you know me,” he says with a hand on his heart and a yearning expression.
He leaves the door open and Lena walks inside, waving him goodbye and closing the door behind her.
She’s an absolute vision. With her wavy emerald green dress that reaches up the middle of her thighs and her blonde long dress with loose curls she has my dick hard in a matter of seconds. The memory of her taste the other night settles in my brain and I have to restrain myself from having my way with her right here and now.
Ryan, you have to calm the fuck up.
“Can we talk?” she asks with a soft voice, but firm at the same time.
“Sure, take a seat.” I point to the chair in front of me. After she settles on it, she looks at me straight in the eyes and starts talking.
“Very well. After everything that happened at the party, is clear to me that you plan on getting back at everyone who made a fool out of you back in high school. I’m aware that that’s why you keep me here and, trust me, I know I deserve it. And when I thought about it, I realized something.”
“And that is?”
“I want in.”
“In? On what?” I’m getting confused.
“On your revenge against them.” OK, I did not expect that. Maybe a plea for forgiveness, but not offering to take part in my revenge plans. “Hear me out. They fucked with you from the start. You already knew they were worthless from the start. But the betrayed me, they made me think they cared about me and when I needed their help, they tossed me aside. That hurt like hell, to know that your whole support system was a smoke screen.” She takes a deep breath, trying to calm down after the angry rant she let out and, after a few seconds, continues: “Hunter called me and accused me to conspire with you to ruin him, and he sounded mean, but better yet, desperate. It made me feel so satisfied, he got what he deserved. So, to summarize. I want to help you with the rest of them.”
