The Smell of Empathy

Hether (No, not Heather. it’s pronounced He-thur, like in Thursday. It’s a long story.) has seen a lot in his 18 years on this rock: the peaks of some of the world’s tallest mountains, sexual abuse, and superpowered, system-wieldling teenagers too high off of their power trip to see how stupid they look. But Hether’s different, and not just because he doesn’t have a system. Sometimes, all it takes is for someone to show they care to make a difference.

hello, everybody. Currently, I go by Frithers (I just made that up.) This story isn’t meant to be a super serious one. I just wanted to make some troubled characters who find help in a genuinely good guy. Empathy isn’t something too common in the modern world, so I just wanted to show how powerful it can really be. Even without a system, we can make a difference.
