Chapter 20: The First Battle Against the Chakra Beasts
Seimei and the two Senju Jonins had already reached their target's location.
Right now, they were hiding behind a large rock, which was 3 kilometers away from the resting ground of the Elite Aquatrex and its underlings.
However, Seimei had no problem tracking their location and observing the situation because of his Lv.2 Tenseigan.
Although his Tenseigan had not manifested any powerful ocular or innate technique yet, it was still a powerful Dojutsu of the Otsutsuki clan.
At Level 2, his Tenseigan could:
1. Observe everything, including living beings within the range of 10 KM.
2. Peer through the physical blockage, similar to X-ray vision.
3. Grant him true 360° vision and perception (When he activated them).
4. Provide him with an incredible dynamic vision similar to the Two Tomoe Sharingan.

In his estimation, once his Tenseigan evolves again and reaches Lv.3, he can unlock at least one or two of its unique ocular techniques.
Right now, Seimei was using his Tenseigan's X-ray and long-distance monitoring capabilities to observe the locations and behaviors of the Aquatrexes beside the lake, 3 kilometers away from his current location.
He also scanned the area for other unsuspecting Chakra Beasts and Shinobi.

Senju Toshiro warned him, while Senju Ryosuke simply gave him a thumbs up.

Seimei replied.
He scanned the area one last time before preparing himself for combat.
Although the lake area was similar to an open grassland, it did have a lot of sporadically scattered trees and large stones.
A great environment for concealment and launching surprise attacks.
Seimei quickly controlled his chakra, making his presence almost negligible. After that, he rushed toward the Aquatrexes resting near the lake.

He immediately came to a halt when he was just 500 meters away from his target. He covered another 400 meters silently and hid behind a tree while camouflaging in his surroundings.
Seimei could clearly see the Elite Aquatrex lounging alone far away from his C-rank Aquatrex underlings.
Out of 14 regular Aquatrex, 5 were still napping, 1 was drinking water from the lake, 6 were wandering lazily, and the last two were…hmm?

The mating Aquatrexes were just 60 meters away. So, he decided to finish them off quickly with a single attack.

An invisible wind blade of 10 meters in diameter formed before his left hand and shot toward the two unsuspecting Aquatrexes at a blindingly fast speed.

The wind blade moved a few more meters forward and hit a lone rock, leaving a deep gouge on it.
Of course, this also put the other Aquatrexes on high alert, and the 5 sleeping Chakra Beasts were also starting to awaken.
But would Seimei just wait for them to wake up completely before attacking them?

He immediately used the Body Flicker Technique to cross the distance in an instant and sliced the necks of two Aquatrexes that had just woken up with his Ninjato.

One kunai pierced through the skull of the paralyzed beast while the other was lodged into its left shoulder.

The explosive tags detonated instantly, obliterating the Aquatrex's head and shoulder. Crimson flame immediately flared up, consuming the beast's entire body.
The poor Aquatrex couldn't be more dead.
Seimei appeared again in the distance and watched the commotion he caused. The remaining 8 normal Aquatrex grouped together and watched him warily.
Seimei was also watching the group.
The pack of Aquatrex was nearly 35 meters away from him.
He had had enough close combat for a day. These Chakra Beasts are clearly physically stronger than Seimei, who was still just an 8-year-old kid.
There is no way to overpower a group of them in direct combat unless he learns the Secret Taijutsu Technique of the Senju Clan—Chakra Enhanced Strength.
