Chapter 52 TRIP ABROAD

Grey pulled the car door open. I let Celine enter the car first before I followed behind her and sat down on the space beside her on the backseat. I didn’t bring my car with me because I couldn't drive on my own with my present condition. Celine also didn’t bring hers with the same reason as me. It was Grey who offered to drive us to the Cemetery. He was the only one fit to drive among us, and Celine and I both agreed to his offer.

When we were settled in our seats, Grey closed the door and climbed into the driver’s seat.

Exhausted, I leaned back on the leather seat and stared at the car window. The rain was pouring heavily now. If I insisted on staying a while ago, I would surely catch a cold. I crossed my arms underneath my breasts to protect myself from the cold. I forgot to bring my jacket with me so I have to bear the cold until we get home.

Grey maneuvered the car onto the highway. Sighing, I closed my eyelids to let my exhausted eyes rest for a while.
