Chapter 104 GETTING JEALOUS!

LIORA'S POV;

I let out a satisfied sigh as I climbed into the car, having finally delivered the last item on Liora’s list.

“Phew,” I murmured, wiping a hand across my forehead in exaggerated relief. “I deserve a ‘well done,’ don’t you think?”

But my words fell on deaf ears. Liora was curled up in the passenger seat, fully engrossed in a book, barely acknowledging my supposed hard work. Her fingers traced the edge of the pages as she read, seemingly oblivious to my presence and, as I saw it, my suffering.

“That’s not exactly how you treat an effortlessly hard-working CEO who’s been demoted to delivery guy,” I teased, my voice laced with mock indignation.

Finally, she looked up, raising an eyebrow at me with a smirk lurking at the corners of her lips. “And that’s what you get for doubting my judgment.” Her tone was as dry as the pages of her book.

“Come on, I thought I’d be forgiven by now,” I said, letting out a playful sigh and throwing her a puppy-dog look.
