Chapter 127 GLIMMER OF AN IDEAS!

LIORA'S POV;

After Max left, I remained frozen in my chair, staring blankly at my phone screen. The rejection email was still open, mocking me with every word. My fingers hovered over the screen, tempted to delete it, but a part of me couldn’t. It was as if holding on to it made the failure real, a part of my story that I couldn’t just erase.

I sighed, wiping the tears that streaked my cheeks, and tried to distract myself by sketching. The room was quiet except for the faint scratch of my pencil on paper, but my mind kept drifting back to the email. Rejection. Again. Why did it always feel like I was running uphill with weights tied to my ankles?

A sudden knock on the studio door startled me. Before I could respond, the door swung open, and Becky’s cheerful voice filled the room.

“Liora! Guess what?” She bounded in, her grin as bright as the summer sun, holding a takeout bag that smelled suspiciously like tacos.
