Ryder’s pov ;
When I got out of the shower, water was still dripping from my hair, I nearly froze in my place.
There she was, sitting on the edge of the bed, shivering badly. Her dress clung to her body, soaked from the rain and nearly see-through now. The fabric moulded against her skin, outlining every curve, leaving little to the imagination.
God, how had I never noticed her before?
Her hair, still wet, clung to her shoulders, and the way it framed her face…Damn. She looked almost unreal. Beautiful in a way I hadn’t allowed myself to think about in a long time.
And just like that, my body betrayed me. A rush of heat surged through me, pooling low in my stomach. My thoughts weren’t exactly innocent, either. She was tempting, almost too tempting.
I swallowed hard, trying to push down the sudden hunger rising inside me, but the more I looked, the worse it got. Every little detail about her was making it harder to think straight.
