"Nicholas, I heard that Emily went to a club and spent time with strangers. Is that true?" Meye demanded, her voice sharp.
Nicholas’s expression was icy. "Who told you that?"
Meye’s anger was evident in her every feature. "Does it matter who told me? What matters is whether it’s true!"
Just as Nicholas was about to deny it, Emily spoke up from behind him, "It's true. But you didn't call us here just to confirm that, did you?"
Meye had already looked into the matter before their arrival and had even watched the surveillance footage. She never imagined her daughter-in-law would do something like this. With a cold stare, she replied, "You're surprisingly honest. But no, I called you here for something else."
Emily met Meye’s gaze calmly, curious about what she would say next.
"Emily, you never deserved to marry my son. You've given him no children, and now you’ve even cheated on him. You have no place in the Sinclair family. Divorce him!"
"Okay."
