At seven in the evening, Emily arrived on time, but Aton was already there, a smile tugging at his lips. "Emily, it's been a while," he greeted her as she took a seat across from him and picked up the menu.
"Aton, how about treating me to dinner tonight?" she teased.
Aton raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "Why should I? Don’t forget, you’re the one who called me here."
Emily set the menu down and leaned back with a playful, challenging look. "True, but remember last time you promised to treat me?"
Aton laughed and shook his head. "Alright, my mistake. Order whatever you want; I can still afford a meal."
Without hesitation, Emily ordered a few of her favorite dishes and passed the menu to the waiter. Then she turned to Aton with a smirk. "You're spending money now."
Aton smiled. "You're welcome. If I didn’t treat you, I’m sure you wouldn’t let me off easily."
