Landing on the ground, various weapons from his armor appeared and aimed at Loki.

"Charles, I need your help."

That's right. He dialed Professor X's phone number. As one of the leading forces on Earth, he couldn't hide the affairs of the mutants from him. The mutant group was very xenophobic and closed off, so he couldn't intervene directly. However, possessing vast power, he had helped Charles quite a bit. For instance, he had aided in the establishment of the X-Men Academy. The X-Men had certain connections with S.H.I.E.L.D., with Wolverine even having served as Black Widow's combat teacher.

Far away at the Mutant Academy, Charles felt a bit surprised by Nick Fury's request. However, given the gravity of the situation, he couldn't refuse.

"Fury, I will send the X-Men to help."

"We are all fighting for Earth."

But just delaying for an hour or two made things very troublesome. Loki, aboard the mothership, wasn't idle either. He was feigning capture in order to sabotage things. With the help of Hawkeye Barton, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top agent, the sabotage was simple.

Hulk was directly provoked by Barton's attack, instantly losing control and causing a massive fight in the hangar. The mothership nearly shut down. Barton used a virus to destroy the mothership's system, and the entire ship was thrown into chaos.

It must be said: Loki was a genius in terms of plotting. With careful planning, he really managed to disrupt the Avengers' operations.

Inside the transparent cage, Loki felt the chaos unfolding around him and smiled wickedly. Barton's subordinates infiltrated the ship, intending to open Loki's cage. At that moment, Thor broke free from Hulk and arrived as quickly as possible.

Seeing the cage about to be opened, Thor roared and charged forward. However, to his surprise, Loki flashed with light and disappeared, leaving Thor to plummet into the transparent prison prepared for Hulk.

"My good brother, you will never learn your lesson," Loki said with a wicked smile.

Thor angrily hammered the transparent prison, and cracks immediately appeared on the glass, accompanied by the grating sound of the restraining device. But Thor didn't dare to act any further—the altitude was tens of thousands of meters high!

Loki looked at Thor, a victorious smile on his face. "Humble mortals always think we are immortal. But you and I know that things are not so. I want to see if you can survive this."
