"Kneel!” He roared, seeing I wasn't moving. I scrambled to my feet, landing my knees to the floor. My face scrunched in pain when I suddenly felt all my bruises. I bit my lip, resisting a sob but my tears refused to stop falling.

The guys suddenly rose from their seats still in their boisterous selves. “Come on, Cal.” One of the guys called as the others started walking towards the forest. 


“Yeah, I’ll be there.” He answered back and then turned to me. “Is it okay if I leave my mate with you? I mean, you’re actually the only female friend Caleb has.” He chuckles. 


“Hey, I have other female friends.” Caleb suddenly popped up beside me. 


“Whatever, man. Let’s go.” Callum said with a laugh. 


“The guys and I are doing some initiation in our wolf form.” Caleb answered for me with a roll of his eyes. He noticed that I was eyeing them with inquisitive eyes. “I really hate this birthday ritual we do.” He said to Callum. 


I smirked, not interested in whatever they’re going to do. Boys always have this weird stuff going on that they’re the ones that could only relate. 


“I’ll just be here with Rin.” Elian surprisingly grabbed arm, intertwining it with her.
