Making Me Feel Things

Nasrin

The Alpha had been visiting me every night. Because of that, I’d wake up late, sore and exhausted. And also because of that, I haven’t attended training. I’m surprised Katarina has not chastised me for that, considering she loves to mock me. Still, I made sure to show up for Caleb and my training in the afternoon, even if just barely.

Today I woke up earlier than usual but not as early as the start of training in the morning. I planned to watch them train from afar. I didn’t want to show myself. I fear the Gamma’s wrath.

The training ground was bustling with activity. Warriors clashed in pairs, their grunts and the clanging of weapons filling the air. The first thing I saw was the familiar huge body watching the crowd sparring. His back was facing me, his muscled torso bare. His hair was in a messy bun, and a huge tattoo covered almost the entirety of his back.

My heart was suddenly pounding really loud and fast, having the feeling that I knew this man very much.
