"Don't lie to me!" I lunged at him, clenching my fists, incessantly punching his sturdy chest. "Don't take me for a fool! I'm sick and tired of you always treating me like your toy! So please…" I sobbed, resting my fists against his chest, no longer hitting him. "I deserve to know the truth."
"She is dead, Nasrin." He repeated.
"I told you not to lie to me." I cried, raising my head so I could see the truth in his eyes. I could read nothing in them. He was so good at acting like this.
I felt so cheated that he's the only one who could be so apathetic between us. The least he could do is tell me the truth. Don't I deserve it after everything he had done when he knew I was innocent in all of this?
