"Ahh," a faint groan escaped his lips as he flickered his eyes open, "Damn it."
He looked around seeing there was no one for miles, even nothing. Just sand, endless sand.
"What is all this?" He croaked, trying to take in his surroundings, "Where am I?"
He looked over his shoulders, and a little farther from him was a female lying on the ground unconscious.
"Eun-ji!" He gasped, rushing over to her.
He shook her, "Hey! Wake up!"
Eun-ji slowly flickered her eyes open, and her eyes fell on the good-looking guy violently shaking her head off her neck.
"Get off me Ha-joon!" She pushed him back, "Do you want to shake off the pretty features off my face."
He scowled at her, "I literally saved your life, but no you do not want to be appreciative. Such an ugly ingrate," he got to his feet, and turned on his heels.
"Really? You are the ugly one here," she snapped, also getting to her feet.
"Shut up fool."
She stamped her right foot, "You are so annoying! You are the worst sibling ever!" She crossed her arms across her chest, raising her nose in annoyance.
"Tsk," he once again scanned his surroundings.
"Where are we?" Eun-ji finally noticed her surroundings, "Wait a minute? Is this hell?"
Ha-joon palmed his face, "How was I ever stuck with a stupid human with as a twin?"
She scowled, "Shut up, it's not as if you're so good yourself," she gritted her teeth.
"Focus Eun-ji, focus," he looked around, "Look, the sky is crimson red, isn't that strange?"
She tilted her eyes towards the sky, "Hmm, it is," she let her eyes scan the area she was in, "There is no one for miles," her voice finally dropped.
Ha-joon pressed his lips together, "It seems.. we were reborn! There is no apocalypse happening right now! We were given a second chance Eun-ji!" He turned around to face her, his eyes brightened.
A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips, "That counts."
"Now, where are we supposed to find food?" Ha-joon stood akimbo, "We might die again if we don't see any food soon."
"This place is void of any living thing. I don't think there is any food nearby."
A small groan was heard behind Eun-ji. Her eyes almost popped out of her sockets as she slowly turned around, "Huh?"
Ha-joon was quick to pull her towards him, "What? This is one of those same creatures," he muttered under his breath, fuming.
It was a fleshwalker that was standing behind them. It finally leapt at them, but Ha-joon was quick to act. He kicked at it before it could land any damage, and poof! It vanished like smoke in the air.
"Oh my goodness! That's the same as one of those things that attacked us on the apocalypse!" Eun-ji gasped, clutching her brother's arm.
"They are here," a deep frown rested on his brows, "Damn it."
"What do we do now?" She drew her lips out in a pout, "Are we going to die again? We just got here."
He held her shoulders, "It's okay, we won't die okay?"
Her shoulders drooped, "This looks bad already," she hid her face in his chest.
"Who are you?!" A deep voice boomed behind them.
Eun-ji was startled as she spiraled around in shock, while Ha-joon just looked over his shoulders, "What is this?"
Eun-ji's jaws dropped. It was Heuk Jin standing before them, with his katana drawn out. He was sinfully beautiful.
"Living humans? We have others here already?" He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes furiously scanning Ha-joon from head to toe.
"Who are you?" Ha-joon blinked, his eyes slightly parted.
"I am Heuk Jin. That's all you need to know," he straightened his shoulders, strapping his katana to his back, "And who are you?" His eyes finally landed on Eun-ji, "Oh."
Eun-ji just stared back at him, her jaws on the ground. She was lost in the sharpness of his red eyes, his thick pink lips pulling her in, inviting her for a kiss. The way his white hair complemented his silky pale skin was a chef's kiss. Oh, he even had the strongest abs she had ever set her eyes on.. he was--
"Eun-ji!" Ha-joon shook her, "Stop it!" He shook her out of her reverie.
She shook her head, oh bloody hell! She was literally drooling.
"I.. I am so sorry, you are just too hot," her eyes widened as she quickly placed her hands over her mouth.
'Eun-ji get a grip of yourself!'
Heat rose to her cheeks, burning furiously.
Ha-joon threw her an annoyed look, "What is wrong with you? You barely know who he is!" He scolded her.
She glanced at him, and back at Heuk Jin, " I mean, I'm not wrong."
The corner of his eyes crinkled, "Thank you, you are pretty yourself," he finally loosened up, "You do not seem like threats. That is fine. Welcome to the post Apocalyptic world."
Eun-ji palmed her face with both hands, 'He said I'm pretty! Oh my!'
"Come with me, you must be hungry," he turned on his heels, and began to walk away.
Eun-ji immediately began to follow him, her heart thumping in her chest.
Ha-joon drew her back, "And where do you think you're going?! Do you know who he is? What if it's a trap to kill us again?"
"Huek Jin unaware of their conversation, kept walking forward.
"What do you mean? Would you rather stand here and die of thirst and hunger? He obviously is already familiar with this post apocalyptic world."
Ha-joon gritted his teeth, clenching his jaw, "It's not safe Eun-ji. I don't trust him."
Eun-ji sighed deeply, "What is your next move then? To die here?"
Heuk Jin noticing that they had not followed him, he stopped in his tracks, and looked over his shoulders.
"Are you both coming or not?"
"No, we're fine," Ha-joon quickly spoke up before Eun-ji could answer.
Heuk Jin arched a brow, his eyes falling on Eun-ji, "Are you?"
She threw a glance at Ha-joon who was signaling her to say yes. She looked back at him, "Well I.."
"Incase you think I would kill you later on, then you can stand there and let the zombies kill you in a horrible way. I only wanted to be kind to you," he shrugged, then turned on his heels.
"Ha-joon! Don't be stupid! He obviously wants to be kind to us. You did see that thing that earlier wanted to attack us right? Do you really want to us to die here already?"
Ha-joon balked his fists,"I..."
"Please Ha-joon. Please.."
Ha-joon pressed his lips, his lips still pressed together.
"We died in our past lives because we had no food back then trying to hide from those things. You want us to die of the same cause?"
His face suddenly became tensed, his veins popping up as he creased his brows.
"Wait!"
