It was 2:00 AM when Trisya's phone rang.
Trisya reached for her phone.
"Hello? Hello..?"
There was no answer.
Trisya put down her phone.
"Who was that?" asked Richard.
"I don't know.. Probably just someone messing around," Trisya rested her head on Richard's arm.
Richard put his arm around Trisya.
"Does Mom know you're here?"
"No, I just told her I was going out for a bit."
"Haven't looked for Dad yet?"
Richard's phone rang.
"Just said he's already called.. Long life to him!" Trisya grumbled when she saw 'wife' calling on Richard's phone screen.
"Hello.."
"It's 2 AM.. You said you were going out for a bit?"
Trisya took Richard's phone and pressed the speaker button.
"Hey!" Richard reprimanded.
"You're with that woman, aren't you? I wouldn't have asked if you came home at dawn before. I know your work. But since you betrayed me with my own daughter, I can't trust you anymore, Richard. You.. I can't believe how that devil woman could change your life?"
"Don't keep calling her like that!"
"Then what should I call her? Your mistress?? Huh! That's crazy! I don't know what's in your head right now!"
"It's just that now his eyes are open to the fact that he made the wrong choice in choosing you as her wife!" Trisya retorted.
"Trisya!" Richard snatched the phone and turned off the speaker.
"Is that true?? You're really insane, Richard! The woman you slept with at that time, my own daughter! And now.. What are you going there for? Aren't you satisfied enough with what you did to her yesterday?" Ariana asked.
"I didn't do anything! I just couldn't go home because of the heavy rain!" Richard answered.
"Heavy rain that pumps up your lust?"
"Rest, I'll be home soon."
Richard hung up the phone and looked at Trisya.
"You shouldn't have talked like that! She's still my wife, Trisya! I've already done something crazy by getting close to you, while I realize that you're my wife's daughter!" Richard said.
"Then what am I considered? A sexual outlet when you're bored with Mom? What's the difference between you and Uncle Lucas?"
Richard was silent.
Trisya covered her face, her tears broke out.
Richard pulled Trisya to hug her, but the girl refused.
"It's not like that," Richard said.
"Then.. Please just get me a lot of money, Dad. Leave every time you come home from here! Let me know what I have to do to serve you!"
"I'm sorry.. I never thought it would be like this."
"Apologizing is not just through words, but also through actions!"
"I apologizes.." Richard hugged Trisya.
"You want to go home?" Trisya wiped away her tears.
"I have to.. "
"How about tomorrow morning?"
"I came here because of the rain and lightning that struck. You said you were scared. I will stay with you until the rain stops."
"And the rain has stopped.." Trisya said. "But can I have 5 more minutes with you here?"
"Goodnight, don't forget to lock the door."
"Dad.." Trisya called.
"Yes.."
Trisya immediately kissed Richard.
"Don't do it again, Trisya.."
"You doesn't want me tonight?"
"Just betray Mom once!"
"Rather than being suspected even though I didn't do anything.. It's better to just continue, Dad."
Suddenly Trisya's phone rang again.
"Ah, who's calling this late at night?" Trisya grumbled.
"Lock the door properly, I'm going home," Richard took the opportunity to leave.
"Hello.."
There was no answer.
"Hello?! Hello!!"
Still no answer.
"Don't try to scare me, Ma!" Trisya said.
Richard stopped in his tracks, turning to Trisya.
"You will die, Miss..!" Ariana said.
"Don't threaten me!"
Richard grabbed the phone in Trisya's hand.
"Hello.."
The phone was already disconnected. A WA message came in. Richard read it.
"You don't consider me a mother, so I don't consider you a child! Wait there! I'll pull you out and put you where you belong!"
Richard looked at Trisya.
"Let's go."
Trisya shook her head.
"Let me just wait for her to come!"
"Not tonight, Trisya!"
Richard took out his phone and searched for a name in his contacts.
"Yes, sir.." Ardi's voice.
"Come here. To Trisya's house.'
"What's up, Sir?"
Richard left the room.
He soon returned to the room.
"Let's go."
"Where to?"
"We'll wait outside. Oh, bring your stuff."
"Why?"
"Don't ask too many questions. Soon!"
"Where are we going?" Trisya asked as she opened her closet.
She grabbed some clothes and put them in her bag.
"You go first."
"Where i should go, Dad? Why do I have to leave my house just because Mom wants to come here? I'm not scared!"
"This isn't about being scared or not being scared. Just avoid making things worse."
"What do you mean, Dad? Ah, it turns out you're a coward, Dad! Or are you afraid your career will be ruined if Mom reports you?"
"Hurry up!"
"I'll change clothes first."
"No need! Just bring the essentials," Richard said.
Trisya grabbed her bag before leaving the room with Richard.
Richard picked up his ringing phone.
"Ardi, where are you?"
"I'm in front of the house, Sir."
"OK, I'm coming out."
"Where are we going, Dad?"
"I told you. You're dodging for now."
"I don't want to!"
"Mom will go crazy later!"
"Why? Let her attack me, I can report her! Put her in jail and rot there!"
"Trisya! Watch your language!"
"Ah! You are really a bad man! Just thinking about my mom and your career!"
Richard didn't answer. He walked out of the house followed by Trisya.
Ardi stood waiting in front of his car. Richard immediately approached him while pulling Trisya's arm.
Ardi looked at Trisya. The woman was only wearing a thin baby pink nightgown that showed off her curves and a pair of legs as white as porcelain china. A sight that could arouse any man's passion. He turned his gaze to Richard.
"Take Trisya to the hotel," Richard said.
"Yes, Sir."
"Be careful."
Trisya frowned, she opened Ardi's car door. She threw her bag into the back seat and immediately sat in the car.
"Excuse me, sir.." Ardi said goodbye.
"Yes."
Ardi immediately drove the car away from Trisya's house. They didn't say anything to each other throughout the journey. Until finally Ardi glanced at Trisya before finally speaking.
"Which hotel should I take you to?"
Trisya didn't answer.
"Hotel Anugrah?"
"Just go to your house, Sir," Trisya answered.
"What?"
"Isn't it true that I have to avoid Mom's attack?"
Trisya looked at Ardi.
"You know my relationship with Dad last night? I slept with Dad. I did what Mom always said that I was seducing her husband to get into my blanket."
Ardi didn't answer.
"I still want to laugh remembering how surprised she was when I kissed Dad's lips in front of her."
Ardi stopped his car in front of the Hotel Anugrah parking lot.
He looked at Trisya. His gaze was so cold.
"How can you laugh at the wound you inflicted on your own mother?"
"Trash mother!"
"No matter how evil she is, it's not right for you to laugh at her pain!"
"Don't blame me. Blame your boss too who's willing to fall into my arms."
Ardi sighed.
"It's up to you. Get out. I have to go home. I'm so tired."
Trisya smiled.
"You're handsome, Sir. Still don't have a lady of the house?"
"None of your business. Get out quickly! I want to rest!"
"I'm hungry, let's go eat."
"You check in at the hotel and order food."
"I don't like eating alone. Come on, Sir."
"No, I'm sleepy. I've had a lot of work these past few days."
"Just for a while."
Ardi didn't answer.
"Hm.. It looks like I have to force you," Trisya took out her phone.
"What do you want?"
"Video call with Aisyah. Let her see that you're spending the night with me at this hour."
"Don't be crazy, Trisya!"
Ardi grabbed Trisya's phone, but the girl quickly pulled it up to her head.
"Just waiting to connect."
"Don't make trouble!" Ardi pulled Trisya's arm to grab the phone.
"Why are you so scared for her to know? You said she's not your girlfriend?" Trisya looked at Ardi. "I like seeing your panicked face, Sir. You look even more handsome."
Ardi looked at Trisya. He only realized that their faces were so close, as were their bodies.
Ardi let go of Trisya's hand. He took out his phone. He called Kalisha.
"Yes, Sir.." Kalisha answered.
"Can you go to Hotel Anugrah, Sha?"
"I can. Why, Sir?"
"There's a woman who needs you to accompany her."
"Oh, Ok Sir. I'm coming."
Trisya laughed.
"It turns out you're so scared of me," Trisya teased.
