"Have you been in touch with Everett these past few years?"

I couldn't help but laugh, my voice tinged with coldness:

"What kind of contact could an ordinary person like me have with the young master of the Song Group?"

"You don't need to worry," I looked at him, my tone calm. "I won't cling to him."

Kael stubbed out his cigarette and suddenly said, "After he was hospitalized, he tried every day to get news about you. When no one was looking, he'd sneak out of the hospital to see you. Because of you, his injuries still haven't fully healed."

"So what?"

"He really..."

"Had a change of heart? Got bored?"

I interrupted him, "Just because he really lost his memory, am I supposed to forget how I spent those years?"
