Episode: 06

I was living in a motel trying to mind my own business.

During that time, I was informed that my father's health was declining. The doctors had given him two months to live. They planned to send him to hospice for his remaining days. However, he wanted to die at home.

Therefore, they tried to guilty trip me into dropping the restraining order to come home to care for him, but I refused. I was over being their punching bag and doormat. I told them to figure it out without me. I was done.

However, with the assistance of Jared and his family, he remained home with 24-hour nurses to make him as comfortable as possible. Time passed by without any issues. A little too quiet, and I knew it was too good to be true.

Jared was kind enough to arrange for me to visit my father once a week at the house. His parents and he were present to make sure no drama happened. I truly appreciated the gesture and I think my family was patiently waiting around the corner for my 90-minute visit to be over each time. Jared and his parents tried to use the time to get back into my good graces. They tried to get me to agree to wait for Jared to marry and divorce my cousin.

I adamantly refused. I didn't want to get sucked back into my toxic family drama or end up with Jared. Therefore, with my newfound freedom, I started to plan for my new life.

I started sending out my resume all over the country. I wanted to leave Pennsylvania. With that in mind, I reached out to some friends that I went to college with. I heard that Keisha and the frat brother were doing much better.

I was able to land a job interview for a job in San Francisco and another in Salt Lake City. I wanted to have my new job in place and confirmed before school let out for summer break.

So during the two weeks given for Spring Break, I did some traveling and job hunting. However, before I left, I accepted a transfer to a new school due to the slip and fall of their Cafeteria Crew Leader. I would start at my new school once everyone returned from Spring Break. I was excited about the change of scenery. I did not tell a soul but Claire and my attorney.

Next, I lied to Jared and his parents that I was leaving to visit an old classmate in South Carolina to clear my mind. I had a great time sightseeing. Both interviews went extremely well.

Funny thing is, a week into my two-week trip, Jared called me and asked to speak with Keisha. She had lied and told him that she was on a road trip bonding with me in South Carolina. I told him he was a bigger fool than I initially thought. If he really believed, I would willingly go anywhere with her. Then, I disconnected the call.

A few days later, that is when I heard they rushed to Las Vegas to get married. Jared had caught her cheating with her ex-boyfriend and threatened to leave her penniless. So she signed the prenup and promised to be the perfect wife to him. She didn't want to lose her meal ticket.

My only response during that two-week period was me logging back onto all my social media accounts. I posted," I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HAVE NO INTERACTIONS WITH KEISHA YVONNE HARRIS OR TIFFANY HARRIS. I HAVE RESTRAINING ORDERS ON BOTH OF THEM. IF THEY TELL YOU WE COOL WE NOT. IF THEY TELL YOU, WE ARE TOGETHER, WE ARE NOT. IF THEY ASK FOR MONEY OR HAVE TAKEN MONEY CLAIMING IT'S FOR ME OR FOR ANYTHING PERTAINING TO ME, IT'S A LIE!!!

I AM NOT ON DRUGS OR GAMBLING OR DATING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE. I DON'T NEED MONEY FOR ANY REASON. SO I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE ENOUGH TO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THEIR LIES OR TO BRING THEIR LIES TO ME. I AM MOVING ON FROM THIS TRAILER PARK EPISODE OF MY LIFE, PEACEFULLY AND HAPPILY!!!"

After that, I deactivated my social media accounts again. I heard through the grapevine that my mother was livid.

Unfortunately, when I got back to town, I discovered that my car had been vandalized. Luckily, I had nothing of value in the vehicle.

However, due to the fact I had left my car in the hotel parking lot, I switched hotels as a safety precaution. I let the insurance company handle the claim and I got a rental car. I planned to drive a rental car for a while.
