"What the hell is that?!"
Beelzebub no longer cared about Alice and the One-Eyed Owl standing before him. He quickly sidestepped and launched a punch straight at Lin Tian!
A black, miniature magic circle appeared on his fist. If it landed, it would mean certain death.
Whoosh!
His punch tore through the air like a meteor, splitting space itself.
Alice and the One-Eyed Owl felt their hearts tighten in fear. It was too fast—unbelievably fast, almost beyond comprehension!
But then—
Beelzebub's pupils suddenly contracted. "!!!"
His fist passed straight through Lin Tian's body, hitting nothing but air.
Lin Tian's figure flickered as though glitched, fading in and out of focus. As the final seconds of Jehovah's Blessing ticked away—3, 2, 1— the blessing's effect ended.
At that moment, the Blood Spear drove straight into Beelzebub's chest!
Feeling the pain coursing through his body, Beelzebub let out a furious roar. A powerful burst of energy sent all three opponents flying backward.
The Blood Spear was ejected from his chest, embedding itself deeply into the thick walls.
Clutching his chest, Beelzebub stared at the three of them with a mix of disbelief and savage ferocity. "A group of despicable, lowly creatures… You dare to harm me? What… what kind of bizarre power is this?"
Never mind why Lin Tian had suddenly become immune to all targeted attacks.
The mere fact that Alice and the One-Eyed Owl had provoked him to such an extent was enough.
Worse still, Beelzebub could feel a wild, powerful force raging through his body, invading every cell. Though barely, he managed to resist it.
Whoosh!
Without hesitation, Beelzebub thrust his clawed hand into his own chest, viciously tearing at the wound left by the Blood Spear. The sickening sound of flesh ripping apart echoed in the air.
The sight froze everyone in place, their faces pale with horror.
"Is he insane?!"
"Holy shit, that's got to hurt like hell!"
"Dear God, demons really are terrifying creatures beyond comprehension!"
As the crowd reeled in shock, thick, black blood began pouring from Beelzebub's watermelon-sized wound.
Before long, the Blood of Ruin that Lin Tian had injected also seeped out alongside it.
Then, to everyone's astonishment, the wound started healing at a visible rate, and fresh blood began circulating again.
The One-Eyed Owl's eye twitched. "How is this possible? Is this even within the limits of biological life?!"
By all logic, no matter how powerful a creature was, it should be impossible to stand upright and consciously undergo a blood transfusion.
Once blood was lost, the brain would shut down, and the heart would stop functioning unless external stimulation restarted it.
Yet Beelzebub stood there, consciously conducting a complete blood replacement.
Who wouldn't be shocked?
"Kehehehe~"
Suddenly, a chilling laughter escaped from Beelzebub's lips. "Surprised? Afraid? To a god, a physical body… is nothing more than a machine to manipulate as I see fit. My consciousness achieved immortality long ago!"
Lin Tian's brow furrowed tightly as the realization dawned on him.
After ascending to godhood and gaining followers, one's consciousness could reside within the minds of their believers, no longer bound by the constraints of life.
Even if Beelzebub's brain were smashed into pieces, he could still function.
Killing a god? That was absurd…
"Summoning of Troy! Three-Life Demon Armor!!!"
Suddenly, a powerful and urgent shout rang out from the city walls. It was Sara's voice, rising in fervor.
The skies rumbled, lightning crackling amidst the storm clouds. Massive magical arrays unfolded in the heavens, emanating an oppressive aura so overwhelming it felt like the heavens themselves were falling. It was impossible to look directly at the sight.
Everyone felt the immense pressure, their hair and clothes whipped violently by the winds.
The Three-Life Demon Armor was about to descend!
Lin Tian's expression grew steadier. With the Three-Life Demon Armor on their side, they could at least destroy Beelzebub's physical body.
Even if Beelzebub could consciously replace his blood, his body's resilience had limits. Repeated destruction like this would eventually lead to exhaustion and collapse.
While this might not be enough to slay a god, it could at least eliminate one.
But no one could have anticipated what came next.
Beelzebub glanced at the massive magical array in the sky. A smirk curled across his lips as he sneered, "Impressive. You actually managed to summon something that feels like a threat to me. But… too bad it's just summoning magic."
"Descent of Darkness!!!"
Buzz!
An overwhelming surge of dark energy erupted from Beelzebub's body, spreading like the alien mist of Scarlett's creation, swiftly engulfing the entire Goblin King City.
And it didn't stop there.
The darkness expanded outward, extending for over a hundred miles—an absolutely monstrous display of power.
The massive Hell Domain he created was unmatched. Even if Alice unleashed her Holy Light Domain, it would never achieve such an absurd scale.
The black demonic aura corroded the summoning array in the sky, forcibly twisting and distorting it.
"Crack!"
A shattering sound echoed through the air as the array disintegrated.
Beelzebub laughed triumphantly. "Within my domain, believe in miracles if you wish. But the only miracles that exist here are the ones I create! Kehehehehe~"
Such horrifying power left everyone with conflicted expressions. No one could have anticipated this outcome.
Lin Tian's expression darkened. In that case, only instant-cast abilities could be used; otherwise, his casting would be interrupted.
It was a disgusting ability, one he had never encountered before. Though, in his past life playing games, he had seen skills like this that could interrupt casting. The only way to counter it was by using instant-cast techniques.
"What the hell is this? I don't believe you can survive under the war machines forged from Limonium Alloy!"
Bill shouted angrily from atop the city walls, his voice trembling with emotion. Deep down, he was tense, overwhelmed by the sheer power of the enemy.
He pulled out a backup control device, taking direct control of all the unmanned war machines. One by one, the iron monstrosities, each with gaping maws, lunged at Beelzebub.
Beelzebub sneered disdainfully at the sight. "Do you think these crude, shoddy machines can kill me, a being who resides in hell itself?"
Under the full effects of Descent of Darkness, the power boost far surpassed the first-tier Descent of Darkness used by Ladrick previously.
Even in his demonic form, Beelzebub could still undergo partial, berserk-level abnormal transformations.
"Mythic-Class Magic: Evil Power!"
Instantly, Beelzebub's right arm swelled several times its original size, veins bulging against the blackened skin, pulsating ominously. Spikes jutted out from the arm, which stood in stark contrast to the rest of his body, which remained unnervingly normal.
"Power!"
Whoosh!
With a single shouted command, his monstrous arm clenched into a fist, a faint black-and-gold aura swirling around it. He swung it at the incoming machines with incredible force.
In an instant, the war machines forged from Limonium Alloy shattered into pieces.
They collapsed on the spot.
These were machines so durable they could treat massive boulders like cotton candy.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the blink of an eye, several more machines were destroyed.
Bill stared, dumbfounded. "Impossible!"
Beelzebub sneered with contempt. "Foolish mongrel dwarf. If this were one of Saurin I's god-slaying super weapons, I might indeed be torn apart in an instant. But your pathetic toys? They're no better than playthings. Hahaha!"
Hearing the mockery, Bill froze in place, stunned. "Saurin… Saurin I? Who is he?"
"Are you genuinely ignorant, or just too terrified to think? You don't even know Saurin I? He's the Forge God of the pure-blooded dwarves and the founder of the Dwarf Empire!" Beelzebub remarked, a hint of surprise in his tone.
Lin Tian, however, remained calm, even smiling faintly. 'What a shame. He's merely a distant branch of the pure-blood dwarves who migrated here. They wouldn't know anything about Saurin I.'
"Saurin… Forge God? Founder? So the dwarves have their own divine system too?!" Bill murmured in shock, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Beelzebub waved dismissively, unwilling to waste further words. "Figures. This just proves you're all inferior, filthy creatures unworthy of survival."
Demons revered strength.
If a species was inherently powerful, they might grant them respect and a chance to survive. But only to push them into despair, forcing them to beg for demonic power and join their ranks.
This was why demons, despite defying Jehovah, the True Lord God, continued to persist. They had become a nightmare to all beings—humans, monsters, and creatures alike.
"Humph. Beelzebub, is it? The next time we meet, I'll devour your body, rip your soul apart, and shatter your consciousness," Lin Tian declared, his tone dripping with scorn as the Demon God prepared to attack.
This time, Lin Tian had suffered only a minor setback. He lacked sufficient information on gods and could not fully utilize the Life Simulation System.
Killing a god was no easy feat.
Lin Tian understood that in this brutal reality, failure was always a possibility.
However, as long as he possessed the means to reverse any situation, that was enough.
Buzz!
He activated the advanced stage of Jehovah's Blessing—Eden Space!
Although he had used the blessing once earlier, two uses were required to unlock Eden Space. Unlike Nanavis's Ultimate Domination, which could only be used twice a day, this skill could be continuously charged, albeit with a maximum of two consecutive uses.
Gradually, behind the crowd, a rift began to open, accompanied by the activation of a magic circle.
From the slowly expanding rift, dazzling white light spilled out, making it impossible to see inside.
In an instant, Beelzebub's heart felt as though it had been pierced, and his pupils contracted sharply. He instinctively retreated several steps. The arrogance on his face gave way to sheer terror. "Impossible! Impossible! This is absolutely impossible!!!"
That presence—it was the existence that the Seven Demon Gods feared and hated most.
The True Lord God. The Supreme Divinity.
Jehovah's creation—Eden!
Not only was it his divine dwelling, but even Adam and Eve within it could easily obliterate Beelzebub.
It didn't matter whether Jehovah himself emerged; if even those two stepped out, his fate would be sealed.
"I… I was wrong! I admit my mistake now! Please, my lord, have mercy on me!" Beelzebub stammered, his entire body trembling in fear. He abandoned all thoughts of escape, dropping to his knees to beg for forgiveness.
Lin Tian was dumbfounded by the sight.
This was just an escape skill, not a summoning skill. There was no way Jehovah was actually coming.
Still, it was his first time using it, so he couldn't rule out encountering Jehovah—or something else—inside.
As an escape skill, it likely wouldn't summon any real danger—or so Lin Tian thought.
Then, a sudden idea struck him. If he didn't know what awaited inside the rift, why enter it himself?
Why not send his unbeatable enemy in instead?
Regardless of whether the rift was dangerous, the enemy's disappearance would ensure his own survival.
As both sides rapidly strategized, a power almost as immense as Beelzebub's approached swiftly. Both parties grew cautious, their eyes fixed on the direction of Goblin King City.
The source of the power was coming from within the city.
Beelzebub's expression turned bewildered. "What… what's going on now? Is it them?"
By "them," he meant the other Hell Demon Gods.
Lin Tian also felt uneasy. If another Demon God had arrived, he wouldn't have the luxury of worrying whether the Eden Space was dangerous or not—he'd have to enter it immediately.
But when the figure became clear, both sides let out sighs of relief.
"Celeste?!"
Lin Tian and Beelzebub both exclaimed in surprise.
Beelzebub was the first to speak. "Miss Celeste! You've arrived just in time. Help me distort this magic array!"
He alone didn't have enough power to alter a magic array connected to Jehovah.
But with the two of them working together, it might be possible.
However, Lin Tian interjected, "Princess Celeste, would you mind dealing with this demon for me? Consider it repaying a favor."
"What???"
Beelzebub froze, utterly baffled. Then he burst out laughing. "You fool! Do you even know whose…?"
Before he could finish, Celeste was already standing above Lin Tian, her expression cold. "Beelzebub, are you unaware that this is my territory? Do you want to test me?"
Boom!
An explosion of terrifying demonic energy erupted from Celeste, causing the Hell Domain itself to tremble.
It was clear that if she unleashed her own Descent of Darkness, it could overpower Beelzebub's.
But Beelzebub's undying consciousness meant that even if Celeste could defeat him, she couldn't kill him.
Killing gods was an act that all divine beings vehemently opposed and sought to destroy. It was an impossibility.
"What… what do you mean by this?" Beelzebub stammered, confused. He looked warily at Celeste, whose battle intent was palpable.
Not only was she a promising candidate to become a Demon God, but she was also Lucifer's most beloved daughter. His treasure.
Celeste's voice was unwavering. "My meaning is crystal clear."
"But that goblin killed my daughter! Are you prepared to face the wrath of a Demon God?" Beelzebub, bound by pride, tried to stand firm. He couldn't lose face before an up-and-coming demon or a high demon.
Celeste, however, wasn't one to back down.
Boom!
She landed heavily before the city gates, her impact shattering the ground for miles around. Her face remained stern.
The two stared each other down.
Lin Tian, watching the exchange, was utterly baffled. "What's going on? A power level of 25,000 challenging someone with 30,000? That makes no sense."
More surprising was the faint hint of fear Beelzebub displayed.
"Humph. So, the Lucifer family thinks they can ignore all rules?" Beelzebub growled through clenched teeth, his anger mounting.
Celeste scoffed. "My father taught me one thing: rules are built upon strength. The rules of this world were established by the Supreme God…"
"You!"
"Hmph. Fine. Out of respect for your father, I'll let you off this time. But don't celebrate too soon, Goblin. You won't survive long enough for me to act," Beelzebub snarled, suppressing his fury.
Sniffing the air, Beelzebub's grin turned twisted. "I can smell a strong stench of filthy desire on her. Corrupting Lucifer's precious daughter—kehehehe~."
With that, he ripped open a Gate of Hell and left, laughing maniacally.
Lucifer family? Corrupted?
Lin Tian stood dumbstruck, staring at the imposing and commanding Celeste. Then, realization struck. "Wait… you're the daughter of the Great Demon God, Lucifer?!"
