Matthew Gordon's life had changed ever since he was blinded at the age of nine. At first, he was overcome with fear. He would never see again. His father, sister, or just the world in general. Good or bad. It was taken from him. But with his vision gone, something extraordinary occurred.
Memories and abilities that at first felt foreign, returned to him like they'd never left. He had lived before. 40 years of Another life, just in another place. He was a lawyer, an inspiration, and a vigilante. He was the devil of Hell's Kitchen. Daredevil.
What now? Nothing. For 8 long years, Matthew Gordon had let the past be the past. He had been a hero in another life, the world had enough. Even Gotham, his home, had none other than Batman. Metropolis had Superman. The world had the Justice League. He could live a normal life and be a lawyer....
That would all change on the night of graduation. When a celebration turns to tragedy. His classmates, his friends... slaughtered.
A Devil was born again.
