Chapter 36: Silence

Fu Ming cast a glance at Su Ting, who remained composed and professional. That glance alone confirmed it—Gu Fenyi was welcome to stay.

Without delay, Fu Ming got straight to the point. “The Fu family has reached Niger. That area has frequent terrorist and militant activity. They found traces of President Ye… it's likely he has already been transferred.”

“Thank you, Mr. Fu,” said Su Ting, unfazed.

“I owe him that much,” Fu Ming added, his eyes shifting momentarily toward Gu Fenyi.

Owe him? Gu Fenyi raised an eyebrow inwardly. What does this have to do with me?

Su Ting showed no curiosity, his expression remaining professional as ever.

He continued, “The Ye family’s private search-and-rescue teams, along with the mercenaries they fund, are still combing through Africa. With Mr. Ye’s abilities, he will survive. In the meantime, we must focus on stabilizing things here.”

“Do you mean Ye’s stock price?” Fu Ming asked.
