Chapter 240

The two members of the Ōtsutsuki clan were supremely confident in their powers. Their sheer presence alone completely overshadowed any ninja on this primitive planet.

But what they never imagined was just how terrifying their opponent truly was.

The moment they made their move, Senju Yukika was already on the attack.

He transformed into a blur, vanishing from his original spot. In the next instant, he appeared atop the throne, raising his palm and striking toward the man seated there.

With that simple motion, a terrifying force, like the power of death itself, descended. A chilling pressure seeped from the surrounding void, locking the Ōtsutsuki man on the throne in place, completely immobilizing him.

The black lightning he had just swung from his scepter gouged deep trenches into the metal floor, and the entire metallic fortress trembled faintly under the force.

The white-robed woman's heart sank. She sensed something was wrong—Senju Yukika's figure had already disappeared before her eyes!

What was even more unsettling: there wasn't a trace of chakra fluctuation in the air. How had he done that?

This young man… his methods were unheard of.

Even the Ōtsutsuki clan, as powerful as they were, couldn't achieve something like this without using chakra.

Unless… it was all an illusion.

But no—this was no illusion. Everything unfolding before her was real.

She turned her head just in time to see that the scepter, once tightly gripped in the throne man's hand, was now effortlessly held by Yukika. He toyed with it casually, examining it with interest.

This scepter was crafted from an incredibly durable material capable of absorbing chakra. After storing a certain amount of energy, it could unleash it all at once, causing devastating damage. It was a rare artifact even in the vast reaches of the universe.

Yet now, Yukika held it as if it were nothing, while the Ōtsutsuki man remained frozen, utterly powerless. Seeing this, the white-robed woman's heart jolted violently.

This man—Ōtsutsuki Liusha—was considered a powerhouse even on their ancestral star. Among the nineteen clan members assigned to this mission, he was undoubtedly the strongest, responsible for overseeing the entire operation of harvesting faith energy from this planet.

But now? Ōtsutsuki Liusha couldn't even withstand a single blow from Yukika.

Even more terrifying was the fact that something unknown had happened—Liusha wasn't even struggling much, yet he couldn't move at all.

The white-robed woman wanted to step in and help, but she knew all too well: if even Liusha couldn't contend with this opponent, she stood no chance.

She broke into a cold sweat, realizing that not long ago, she had dared to hide in the void and attempt an assassination on Yukika.

Now, Yukika sat lazily on the throne, while Liusha stood beside him, stiff and awkward. His expression was a mixture of blankness, fear, and overwhelming shock.

It wasn't that he didn't want to move—he simply couldn't. All he could do was stand there, helpless before Yukika.

Yukika studied the scepter for a moment, then smirked and said, "Now that I've seen this little trinket, I'm even more curious about your ancestral star."

The white-robed woman quickly seized the chance, her voice bright, "If you're interested, I can personally escort you to visit our ancestral star."

Yet even as she spoke, her eyes flickered constantly, clearly avoiding Yukika's piercing gaze.

Yukika chuckled and replied, "Before that, though, I'd like to know—what's your endgame after a hundred years?"

This was Yukika's true purpose. After witnessing the power of these two Ōtsutsuki, he had gained deeper insight into the true strength of their clan.

He realized that if he hadn't unleashed his full power at the very start, he could have been dragged into a long and grueling battle.

These two were no weaker than Ōtsutsuki Umura and Ōtsutsuki Uii—yet they were just ordinary members of the clan.

If their ancestors really descended, how powerful would they be? Were they truly god-like?

Faced with Yukika's pointed question, the white-robed woman hesitated, unwilling to answer directly.

Yukika's fingers lightly tapped the air—and Liusha immediately groaned in pain!

The skin on Liusha's arm split open, and thick purple blood gushed out, dripping madly onto the floor.

As his blood spilled, his aura rapidly plummeted, and his chakra began to dissipate uncontrollably into the air.

"No… no… no!"

Ōtsutsuki Liusha let out a muffled cry, using all his strength to shout, as if every ounce of his power was being drained in that moment.

The white-robed woman's heart twisted with conflict. She hated to watch Liusha like this—he was on the verge of death.

Unable to stand it any longer, she sighed heavily and said, "Sir, please… spare him. I will tell you everything!"

Yukika smiled. "Ah, a wise one."

With a casual snap of his fingers, Liusha collapsed to the ground. Moments later, he fell into a trance-like state, his senses completely sealed. Although he was still alive, he was oblivious to everything around him.

"All right," Yukika's voice echoed through the broken metal fortress, "You can talk now."

The white-robed woman closed her eyes, took a breath, and began to speak slowly:

"Our purpose here on your planet is to harvest faith energy. You've probably figured that out already, haven't you?"

In her mind, she assumed that other powerful beings—like Yukika—must have already pieced everything together, otherwise, how else could he have found their hideout?

Yukika nodded. "I understand that. But tell me—what happens after a hundred years, once you've collected all the faith energy?"

The woman's voice turned chillingly cold, laced with something sinister. "After a century, we will activate the interstellar teleportation array beneath your planet and return to the ancestral star. That's when the clan will send their true elites."

"Elites? What kind of elites?" Yukika asked casually, but inwardly, his guard shot up.

The white-robed woman exhaled slowly, her voice cautious. "A being from our clan, one who is nearly god-like. They wield destructive power capable of obliterating or reshaping entire planets at will."

"…What?!"

Yukika's brows furrowed deeply as her words sank in.
