Misfits and Wildflowers

(Hi everyone. This is my first novel ever written and created as a 25 year anniversary project. Story is inspired by true events. Please bare with me. It starts off slow, but I promise this will pick up. It will contain strong language, comedy, and sexual situations in later chapters. A true slice of life story that tells the tale of how I met my wife while we were in high school. Enjoy)



Shy and nerdy boy Alfie is convinced he will never experience love the way many of his misfit friends have.



In the summer of 1999, things change for Alfie as he becomes smitten by this girl during summer school.

Alfie is too shy to express any of his feelings to her and ends up missing an opportunity. Now entering the new school year, those feelings for her still linger and Alfie is feeling more hopeful than before.



In this collection of short stories, Alfie shares his memorable experiences from the friends he made, his funny moments, the drama, romance and heartbreak that ultimately lead to the girl that became his wife after highschool.
