“Is the MC overpowered.

-Yes he will be at some point that is during ending chapters but it doesn’t mean opponents are easily defeated.
The power scaling here is different and Hence, through a lot of sacrifices and training he eventually develops skills and powers.
So don’t expect him to be OP from the start which is quiete common these days.

“Is there a system?”

No there is no system here, the MC trains and with the support of the Guild he will eventually become stronger through the battles and experience.

“Romance?”

There are many chapters yet to be published Hence, with your recommendations it can be done.
As far as the story goes the MC solely focuses on his goal.
