Chapter 13

"Your highness,the queen mother wishes to see you"Greta said that day evening while Lunar was reading another R-18 book.

"Ok but do you possibly have any idea why she wants to see me?"the princess asked closing her book and shoving it under her pillow

"No idea, your highness."

"I told you not to call me that! you're older than me..call me by my name"

"Yes my lady"the maid bowed and exited the room.Lunar sighed and climbed down her four poster bed.

"Is that the queen??"Lunar asked her handmaid and the girl nodded.

"My God, she's so pretty,and young.i mean if the queen is this young how old is her son?"Lunar asked curiously but Greta only looked at her,smiled and said nothing.The knights at the door greeted the princess and led her straight to the queen who was having a discussion with one of her sons.

"Your majesty"Lunar curtysed very respectfully and smiled gracefully

"Sit child.."Queen Diane smiled watching the girl sit perfectly on the fur coated divan.she winked at her son who was drooling at Lunar and he excused himself.it was just the queen and of course her servants who remained in the room with Lunar.

"I called you here for a very important discussion"said the queen and Lunar nodded in attentiveness"it's concerning your husband"

"What about him?am I meeting him soon?"

"I see you're excited to meet him"

"Yes queen mother"the princess blushed crimson and the queen shoke her head in pity.she couldn't bear the thought of loosing this pretty angel here,just looking at the girl's innocent face made her weep

"Are you crying queen mother,did I say something wrong"Lunar reached out and touched the woman's shoulder,she lifted her finger and wiped the tears away.this was something she'd never done to her own mother but this her mother-in-law was different.she liked her already.

"It's ok mother, sorry If I said something to hurt you"she smiled and the queen quickly wiped her face and cleared her throat.

"Am sorry, it's my fault.. let's get back to why we're here.tomorrow is the consummation of your marriage with his majesty."

"Ok"

"The rumors you heard.."the queen stopped and looked at the girl's facial expression..it was inquisitive,her ears stood erect,ready to hear what she had to say."Not all the rumors are true,yes he's possessed but he used to be a sweet boy before and.."queen Diane couldn't speak anymore,the tears stopped her from continuing her statement.

"It's ok mother,I don't care what people say about him.. he's still your son and therefore my husband and I accept him for who he is"Lunar assured the queen and patted her hand.'is this child in her right state of mind,how can she accept daemon without even knowing him '
