Divine Intervention

Kurt, relieved at having avoided any immediate punishment, turned to leave the throne room, eager to return to the relative safety of his home and try to make sense of everything that had happened. He had revealed his origins, confessed his deception, and somehow, miraculously, been spared.

But his escape was short-lived.

Suddenly, the very air in the throne room shimmered and crackled with raw power. A wave of energy washed over everyone, causing the torches to flare and the tapestries to ripple. The room fell silent, every head turning towards the source of the disturbance.

A figure descended from the shimmering light, a woman of breathtaking beauty and power. Her presence filled the room, radiating an aura of ancient strength and untamed energy. It was Terra, the Goddess of the Earth, her arrival both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

Terra's voice, when she spoke, was like the rumble of the earth itself, deep and resonant, echoing through the chamber. "There has been quite a ruckus going on here, it seems," she said, her gaze sweeping across the stunned faces of the court, finally settling on Kurt.

She stepped closer to him, her eyes narrowed with an intensity that made Kurt's blood run cold. "You," she said, her voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. "I never granted you the right to wield a divine weapon. I never bestowed upon you an enchantment. How are you able to summon them?"

The King, who had been regaining his composure, was now utterly stunned. He rose from his throne, his face pale with a mixture of fear and disbelief. "Goddess Terra," he stammered, his voice trembling slightly. "How… how is this possible? How could a mortal… a commoner… wield Astra weapons without the permission of a god?"

Terra turned to the King, her expression softening slightly, though her power still filled the room. She paused for a moment, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Then, she smiled, a smile that was both radiant and unsettling.

"I was just joking," she said, her voice suddenly lighter, almost playful.
