Chapter 8- Adventure guild (5)

Mitchell woke up only to see himself back in the forest, he was still in disarray about everything that had happened previously and to add everything he had just seen.

''Crap, i need to rest my head, ....am so confused ''.

'Kid, are you awake, what happened to you, you blacked out for several hours' jack asked worriedly. He was afraid that the sudden breaking through of realms was the reason for this backlash.

''Woah!!!!...., what's happening ''Mitchell felt his body tingling with excitement as information poured into his head. The information flooding into his head was a technique, used by a figure with grey hair who destroyed the a sun. He saw him performing some hand seals before unleashing the attack. ' Qi burst cannon'. that was the name of the technique, and he had memorized how to do it.

Jack also saw it as he was inside his head and Mitchell was conscious at that time.

'This is the ancient technique of the first purple moon god. This is your technique lord fate. How did you get it' Jack asked Mitchell in an excited voice. If Mitchell was getting his memories back, it would be a good thing.

Mitchell didn't have time to explain before another technique entered his head. this one was of the blood dragon origin and had to do with exploding of the blood in one's body to temporarily increase one's speed and attack power. But it had a backlash, using this technique multiple times may lead to severe internal injuries as if exploding one's blood isn't enough, exploding the blood in the organs is a problem.

"Woah, this technique is dangerous." Mitchell said when he saw the implications of using the technique.

'It also cannot be casted by an ordinary person. Maybe because you have not spent a long time in the spirit thats why you're in unaware but this technique if tried by an ordinary person, will make them self destruct.'

'Then does it mean I can't try it?' Mitchell asked.

'No, am sure you can try it out, you absorbed the divine source of the crimson dragon so I guess your internals would change to suit the physical capabilities the divine source needs to operate.'

'But still am just saying these things am not actually sure. But if you can see the techniques, then it probably means you can cast it'

Mitchell's steps were heavy as he trudged toward his cave. The forest around him was alive with sound—the rustle of leaves, the distant call of birds, the chirping of insects—but all of it felt muted, drowned beneath the storm of his thoughts.

'So now I have two sealed divine entities within my body and I don't remember who I was. What a great way to start'. He grinned.

The cave lay nestled at the base of a craggy hill, hidden from casual passersby by the thick underbrush and tall, ancient trees. It was close enough to the nearby village for supplies but far enough to avoid prying eyes. As Mitchell approached, the entrance loomed before him—a jagged, rocky mouth sealed by a smooth, unyielding wall of stone. Inscribed across its surface were glowing purple runes, their light dim but unmistakable.

He stopped in front of it and placed his hand on the cold surface, hesitating for a moment. The runes seemed to react to his touch, faintly pulsing like a heartbeat.

"I'll just have a quick bath. I was even given two days to complete the mission". He dropped the tails at the entrance to his cave since no one knew where it was anyways.

'Ahhh'

He leaked a groan when he took a dip into the pool. After soaking a little, he had his bath to remove the dried up stains of blood on his already tattered clothes.

The machine could rewash clothes instantly but not fix them so he had to go to the adventure guild like that.

As he trudged to the small city, he noticed it was different when it was nighttime. It was more crowded and people were very jumpy.

" Here is the proof ". He dropped the fifteen tails on the counter with blood still dripping out of them.

The shop manager counted them In shock when their numbers were more than what they guessed they would be.

Mitchell thought the man was shocked at how many he killed but was surprised at how many they multiplied in such a short time.

The shop manager dropped two silver coins and three copper coins for him and motioned him to leave. 'Silver, must be something expensive then. Maybe I can get a lot with it'.

He asked Jack but he did know how to answer him. Ever since he turned to a godslayer several centuries ago, he had stopped bothering himself with money and knew nothing about how much currency held now.

" Now where will I buy food?". He asked himself and turned to look around but had no clue. 'How about you try asking around'. Jack said.

But there was no one else in the Adventure guild other than the girl he bumped into earlier. And he wouldn't want to go and ask her for anything since she might as well hold a grudge against him.

But his stomach grumbled and he decided to go talk to her anyways. If he couldn't find his way in this little city, then he may as well be sold.
