After waking up, Cealan found himself in the world of pirates, a chaotic sea ruled by ruthless pirates and an indifferent world government. Faced with such a brutal reality, despair seemed inevitable.
But fate had other plans.
Cealan awakened the Heroic Spirit Synchronization System, successfully extracting the SR template: [Berserker Class - Heracles].
By continuously fighting and embodying the spirit of the hero, he could increase his synchronization rate and unlock greater power. He could even consume Berry to accelerate his progress.
Determined to grow stronger, Cealan chose the path of a bounty hunter, the true nightmare of all pirates.
why harem, whyyyy 😭😭😭...................
Why bother translating this? Just from several characters i read I Can feel stupid vibes... Getting Nami on board? Well 90% of ffs have this, but making Tashigi leave Marine and join MC in 30 seconds of their first meeting? I smell stupid chinese pokemon harem, catch em all type...
Well, a fic about our MC with a heroic spirit template, and yes, it's not only Heracles; he gets other templates too, though the second template he gets takes a while, around 100 ish. Regardless, it's a good story to pass the time.
I genuinely wanted to enjoy this story, he premise of a Hercules-powered MC in One Piece is fantastic and the writing itself is technically solid. However, after 48 chapters, I found myself increasingly disappointed. That said, I recognize that some readers may appreciate elements that I personally consider flaws, so I hope the author takes this as honest feedback rather than undue criticism. Key Concerns: 1. Characterization & Harem Dynamics The harem elements feel overly simplistic, with female characters (like Vivi, Tashigi, Robin, and Nami) behaving more like infatuated fans than the complex personalities they are in canon. For example, Vivi abandons her country far more easily here than she did with the Straw Hats, despite having far less emotional buildup. Similarly, Tashigi’s sudden departure from the Marines lacks believable motivation. 2. Lack of Tension & Overpowered System: The MC’s strength progression (tied to bounties) is an interesting concept, but it removes nearly all suspense. By effortlessly defeating Crocodile and dominating the East Blue with minimal struggle, the story loses stakes early on. While "OP MC" is a tagged trope, many successful stories in this genre balance power with humor, creative challenges, or meaningful character growth elements that feel missing here. 3. Over-Reliance on Canon Rehashing: So far, the plot closely follows canon events but with the MC steamrolling conflicts and "collecting" popular female characters. The latest chapter suggests this pattern may continue, making future arcs predictable. A stronger deviation from canon or more original conflicts could help the story stand out. There’s clear potential here. The premise is fun and the prose is readable, but the execution leans too heavily on power fantasy tropes without enough narrative depth to offset them. I hope the author continues to refine their work, as they clearly have skill. Wishing them the best moving forward!
Hoping for another banger from Junkdog especially since OP is my 2nd favorite anime after JJK though I haven't read this one yet but I will give it a 5 regardless
Nerfed Hercules. Why even make him so weak compared to his counterpart when you have the OP tag?
is this a translation? the story is good
5 Star cuz why not ..this novel is quickly becoming one of my favourite ones...a very good read highly recommend.
Many people hate harems, but if you think about it, everyday life is not much different: full of choices and drama, but no one praises them.
Os cara dando 1 estrela só pq e harém se n gosta n vê nem precisa avaliar fica de palhaçada estou dando 5.0 de nota pra equilibrar ...............................

I was really enjoying it for a while, but when the harem stuff started to kick in, I rapidly began losing interest. I didn't see the harem tag when I started reading or I probably wouldn't have bothered reading at all. I know this isn't the translator's fault specifically, but rather the original author. But I unfortunately can't bring myself to go further than this, as the story has lost its appeal for me. It was an interesting concept, but unfortunately the Harem aspect really dragged it down for me.
