Seah's Point of View
After finishing my duty, I immediately went home. Tired and hungry, walking home with my bag on my shoulder.
I still had my things with me from school earlier because I went straight to work.
The city lights are on and the street culture is alive.
There are many vendors scattered on different sides of the road.
The road is noisy and people who want to have fun are here. The whole place is so lively that even if I want to peek, my mind tells me to go home.
"Seah!"
"Seah!" I immediately turned to the person who called my name. A familiar face was weaving at me while running towards where I was.
With a big smile on his face that Cedric dude was the one who's calling my name.
"Good thing I'm still chasing you," he said quickly when he got close to where I was.
"Come join us, my friends and I are having fun here!" he offered, which made me shake my head.
"Ah! I'm going home," I said, as he put his arm around my shoulder.
"Just a moment," I grabbed his wrist and pulled it away. "I said No!" I replied angrily, raising my hand and nodding.
"Okay! Okay! Chill, take care, Seah!" he said and smiled. I continued walking without saying a word and took a deep breath because of my fatigue.
"Why don't you like that guy?" I was immediately surprised by who spoke and saw him walking alongside me while taking a bite of a lollipop.
"Is an imaginary friend eat like a little kid?" I said reluctantly while he looked at me with a wicked look that made me just shrug my shoulders.
Seriously, if there was anyone else walking by right now, I would think I was crazy. By the way, I'm almost home and I just want to lie down. I'm already hungry because of that Cedric's nonsense.
"To answer your question, I don't have any grudge against him, I just don't like his attitude it annoys me," I replied, frowning and looking straight ahead.
"Ahhh! Okay!" I immediately got annoyed with this and widened my eyes at it. Was it reciprocating?
"By the way, where have you been? What took you so long to appear? You haven't shown up in a while!" I asked in surprise as it shrugged again.
"Nah! I'm just your imagination right? You think where did I go?" it hissed, which made me just shut my mouth and let it accompany me.
Cedric's Point of View
I wasn't expecting that I would see Seah walking pass by. I really didn't plan to call her but after remembering how she smiled and what Raphael did I became determined to approach her.
But, maybe she was just tired so she seemed annoyed with me. What I like about Seah was she's kinda mysterious, not to mention that she's pretty too.
“Who's that?” I asked in surprise while Martha asked a question at the same time after approaching Seah.
“Nothing,” I said reluctantly while shaking my head. Kyle immediately handed me the glass which I shook my head in return.
“Our baby boy is becoming a good boy!” I just kept my head down wondering if Seah had come home. I dozed around all night until I got home just thinking about her.
“Tsk! In love na talaga ako,” napapalingo-lingo kung saad habang nakahigang nakatingin sa kesami ng aking kwarto.
Seah’s Point of View
I collapsed onto my bed while sighing. I had just come from the bathroom and was already dressed and lying on my bed.
I intentionally not to have my dinner tonight because when I arrived I had no appetite. I rolled over on my bed while taking a deep breath from exhaustion.
“Do you know the moon is bright tonight?” I heard someone talking and I turned to the boy who just shrugged.
It didn't come from him, that meant it came from someone else. I immediately looked out the window and saw Raphael's face. It was true that the moon was bright.
“What time is it and you’re still awake!” was all I could answer, which made him smile and gesture for me to go out my window.
I didn’t do anything and just went out.
“Woah!” was all I could say when I saw the moon turn red. “Tonight is Lunar Eclipse, didn’t you hear it? It’s all over social media now,” I just shook my head and sat up while looking at the moon.
There’s stars and the moon shine so bright. The red color of it makes me feel goosebumps, it’s really breathtaking.
I felt like I am one of the world and I felt like I am not alone. In that thought I looked at the man who was also looking at the moon while smiling.
“You know what, whenever I stare at the bright moon I felt like I am not alone,” I immediately looked at him in surprise.
“Growing up with a complete family that is not happy is sad,” he said while still staring at the moon. I felt like we're alike.
“You are complete but messy, there is something missing and it's just really sad,” his voice was filled with sadness that you could really feel a pinch in his heart.
When he kept silent I immediately looked at the big red moon that was super round.
“My dad passed away while my mom chose to reach her dream living us behind,” I just felt like this was the right time to share.
“Ow Sorry!” I immediately shook my head as he apologized and smiled at it.
“Nah! I felt like, I understand how you felt when you said that your alone,” I said first.
“Now that I live alone, I feel sad all the time, I didn't want to admit it at first but now, I'm so sorry that I didn't even say the words “I love you” to my dad before he passed away.”
“I didn't know, but my heart wanted to hate him for leaving me behind so early. I really don't like being alone, every night seems so cold without him.” I felt a warm tear fall down to my cheek that caused me to wipe it up fast.
I couldn't explain it but all of a sudden I cried my heart out like I'm some kind of a child.
