Naruto x Fairy Tail: Fairy's Shadow
After passing his will onto his best friend, Shisui closed his eyes and let the gentle breeze guide him into the unknown. English is my first language but I was never really that good at it. Always a "B" student. The fanfic should still be very readable, though anyone with a grammar hard-on may have aneurysms .-.
This is a re-imagining of my first original fanfic "Fairy's Ace". It was at 16 chapters but i realized that Naruto in Fairy Tail was an overused troupe in Fanfiction. Moreover, I wasn't really satisfied with my starting .-. So here is my second attempt at a Naruto X Fairy Tail crossover fanfiction, but this time involving one of my favourite and underrated characters, Shisui Uchiha.
Pairings are undecided, but if you are familiar with my translation work for the Marvel series, the romance comes slow, but that's mainly due to me trying to build the relationship.
As this is a fanfiction, certain AU elements may appear, please take note that i will not be following cannon events religiously and will change things where necessary!
And finally, I do not own anything related to Naruto nor Fairy Tail, this is a fanfiction and the only thing I can claim as my own is my own perceived view of the plot progression and original characters.

After 1 month, here's finally my obligatory 5 star review :D This fanfic did not, and most likely would not reach the same heights as my editting of the Marvel series. I had already expected that. But to see just how bad the fanfic is performing .-. Sometimes I wonder if i'm just uploading on the wrong time, not getting the most exposure. Other times I feel like maybe doing a Shisui fanfic is a little too niche. But even so, I actually enjoy writing this. So even if this fanfic struggles to get attention, I'll still be here :D Selfishly I'd also like to ask if anyone has any ideas how I can get more attention on this fanfic xD Like is there a good timing?? i live in GMT +8.
Immediately nerf your character by making genjutsu impossible. Nice that means kotomatsukami is gone cause that wont work and the sharigan is now just an eye that can see a little better then normal. TAKE THE OVERPOWERED TAG OFF THIS!!!
Great job I like how you used some one else then Naruto. As much as I love fairy tales fincs. Naruto’s the main character is used a lot . So this is a very nice change please keep going love the work
Overall, it's have to say this story has been enjoyable so far. The only issue i have right now is that the author made Shisui (who is supposed to be 5 foot 11 inches)shorter than Ultear, who is canonically 5 foot 6 inches, making Shisui sternum height which is just not true. That kinda creates an issue because either Ultear is MASSIVE compared to every other character, or Shisui is literally like 4+ feet tall. I hope the author fixes that little mistake, and if not, just imagine they're both the height they're supposed to be.
GOOD WRITING , Nice pacing ( not too slow nor fast . each character have time for interaction and development ) . not an instant OP top of the world shisui but , still quite strong . untested since he is yet to fight 100% with those top forces ( he is cautious enough to avoid fighting top forces as of now . probably will change later in the story for sure judging from the story direction ) . overall a nice story to read
Adding original content is great and all, it also adds some originality, but some of it is just too much, Idk how long I've spent reading from 68% to 100% to just get through it, but overall not too bad, now I like a well paced story, even the long one, but not if they're an excuse to prolong some arc, and be portrayed as something to justify that original content, the subtle adding was nice, the process that goes into as to why he needed to go there was alright, the story when he was in there? That's where I dipped, perhaps it was because I'm too used to Itachi who is getting transferred and not familiar enough with Shisui as a character, but to me, it just doesn't feel right. WQ: 4Stars I don't know whether it's AI assisted, but I've consumed too many of those garbages that I could feel a trace of it, if it's not then I apologize. SoU: 5Stars, why not. SD: 3Stars, again, my reasoning is the comments above. CD: 3Stars, it's a fanfic, perhaps I've missed where he was portrayed, or what kind of clothes he was wearing, but overall I just imagine him using the ANBU uniform, the rest, well I just look them up WB; 3Stars, It tried its best, combining some aspect of the originality with Fairy Tail, but it just doesn't quite cut it, it could work, perhaps it's just not my cup of tea.
