Sloth’s Judgment

Chapter 15: Sloth's Judgment

The moment Wrath fell, silence filled the battlefield. The air grew heavier—as if the world itself held its breath.

From the collapsing dungeon, Kuro walked out yawning, dragging his dagger lazily.

Captain Elara raised her blade instinctively.

But without warning—

SWOOSH!

Kuro vanished and reappeared in front of her in an instant.

"Let's test the youngest Division Captain…" he murmured.

He slashed down with his dagger—faster than lightning.

But before the blow could land—

CLANG!

Synoh jumped in, parrying the dagger with his black sword. Shadows crackled around him.

"Not today."

The two locked in place—dagger against blade—tension humming between them.

Kuro blinked once.

"Hmm. Not bad."

Then—

WHAM!

Kuro twisted and kicked Synoh with monstrous strength, sending him flying like a bullet.

CRASH!

Synoh smashed through the ruins and slammed into a wall, coughing blood.

---

Sloth vs. Sins?!

As Kuro turned his gaze across the battlefield, the remaining Four Sins—Lust, Gluttony, Greed, and Kalea (Envy)—prepared to retreat again.

But in a blink—Kuro vanished.

Then—

BOOM!

He appeared right in front of them, eyes half-lidded but boiling with fury.

"Retreating, huh?" Kuro said, almost too calm.

"I give you power… and you waste it."

Before they could react—

Lust was slashed across the chest.

Gluttony's jaw was shattered by a single backhand.

Greed screamed as his bag of gold exploded from a strike.

Kalea tried to use her Envy spell—but Kuro's aura alone canceled her cast.

In moments, all four lay unconscious or writhing in pain.

Kuro stood above them, irritated despite his usual drowsy demeanor.

"You're all useless…" he said, voice dripping with disgust.

He raised his palm.

A dark mist surged from their bodies—energy returning to Kuro.

"I'm taking back the power I gave you. Same with Pride."

Suddenly, Leon's (Pride) unconscious body nearby twitched—dark energy leaking out and flying back to Kuro.

Truth Revealed

Captain Elara's eyes widened.

"You… created the other Sins?"

Kuro nodded slowly.

"They're fake. Just pawns. Prototypes."

Synoh staggered back, injured but still standing.

Kuro looked at him thoughtfully.

"You're different."

"Synoh… join my party. Become one of the real Deadly Sins."

Everyone froze.

Captain Elara glared.

Dred gripped his drills.

Synoh breathed heavily… then shook his head.

"No."

Kuro sighed, rubbing the back of his head.

"Why's it always so hard to recruit someone strong…"

He turned his back lazily, murmuring to himself.

"If I really want a powerful Seven Deadly Sins team, maybe I'll just recruit real S-Rank adventurers. If they accept… then I won't have to fight seriously anymore."

He vanished in a blur of shadow mist—gone.
