After dealing with Hyūga Hiashi, Sasame didn't interfere with the remaining candidates.

Having Hyūga Hizashi was enough.

Besides, he couldn't go around demonstrating his strength to every clan.

If Tsunade found out, he wouldn't be able to explain himself.

Of course, he would tell her eventually.

Right now, Sasame was still young—doing something so shocking might unsettle her.

In a few years, she'd be more accepting.

Evening.

Sasame returned to the Hokage's office.

"How did it go? Smoothly?"

Tsunade looked up, saw him, and stretched lazily without a care for appearances.

"All settled."

Sasame replied casually. "And the Hyūga clan wants Hizashi to serve as a Hokage secretary."

"Hm?"

Tsunade paused, her expression shifting.

She interlaced her fingers, contemplating the Hyūga clan's intentions.

Being a secretary wasn't a particularly prestigious position.

The seven shinobi she had selected were all chūnin—not jōnin.

Because she knew jōnin wouldn't bother with trivial tasks.

Hizashi's sudden appearance was… suspicious.

A power play?

Tsunade wasn't stupid—she quickly realized what was happening.

The Hokage's secretary was just a step below the Hokage's advisors.

Hyūga Hiashi's status was no less than Homura Mitokado or Koharu Utatane.

After a moment of thought, Tsunade didn't refuse.

She never liked those two old fossils anyway. Having Hizashi annoy them might be fun.

"Sis, is there a problem?"

Seeing her expression, Sasame wondered if she disagreed.

"No problem at all."

Tsunade crossed her long, smooth legs and smiled. "Seems like you've been working hard."

"So, any rewards?"

Sasame immediately pressed further.

When an opportunity arose, hesitation was unacceptable.

Otherwise, it'd be an insult to Tsunade.

"What do you want?"

Tsunade's lips curled, her eyes glinting with mischief and allure.

For a moment, Sasame's heart raced.

She was wearing the Hokage's robe—something that should've looked dignified—but on her, it was irresistibly tempting.

Damn, she's good at this.

Sasame played it safe. "Anything from sis is a reward in itself."

Tsunade's gaze softened as she leaned back in the Hokage's chair, the setting sun outlining her curves through the window.

Under Sasame's eager, nervous stare, she finally spoke.

"I'll make dinner tonight."

"...?"

Sasame's heart nearly stopped.

Is this a reward or punishment?!

"Let's go."

Tsunade set aside the documents, freeing herself from bureaucratic headaches.

"Oh."

Dejected, Sasame followed behind her, his eyes unconsciously drifting to her fair, delicate feet.

They left the Hokage Building.

The streets were nearly empty by now.

Tsunade suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong?"

Sasame's gaze slid past her hips before he looked up.

"No one's around now."

Tsunade extended her right hand, hinting.

Sasame immediately stepped forward and took her soft hand in his.

"Sis, when are we going to the beach?"

"On my birthday."

Tsunade's lips curved into a smile—she was clearly in a good mood.

Sasame's excitement flared.

Finally, Tsunade's new "skin" unlock!

"I'm looking forward to your gift."

Tsunade glanced at his expression. "If I'm not satisfied, you'd better be prepared."

Sasame's smile froze.

Should I prepare a backup gift?

Just in case I end up buried on that deserted island.

Back home, Tsunade kept her word—she personally cooked Sasame a meal as a "reward."

Shizune watched from the side, her expression as miserable as a scorned puppy.

Why am I the one suffering?!

The Next Day.

Hyūga Hizashi and the other six secretaries arrived on time.

Four men, three women—a balanced ratio.

Instantly, two-thirds of Tsunade's trivial workload vanished, leaving her much more relaxed.

The only ones unhappy were Homura and Koharu.

They sensed danger.

Ordinary secretaries wouldn't have bothered them—they could still boss them around.

But Hizashi? He ignored them completely, answering only to Tsunade.

This meant they were losing influence.

With fewer matters passing through their hands, their opportunities for personal gain dwindled.

Knowing their personalities, Sasame expected retaliation soon.

Well, I'll deal with them later.

For now, it was time to enjoy his beach vacation.

August 2nd. Sunny.

"Sis, wear that cheongsam from last time."

Sasame pulled out a greenish qipao from the wardrobe. "It's just the two of us on the island anyway."

"You little schemer!"

Tsunade flicked his forehead, then took the dress. "Get out."

Sasame hurried to the door.

As much as he wanted to watch, her instincts were too sharp.

For the sake of his greater swimsuit ambitions, he had to endure.

"Done."

Tsunade opened the door, her black-stockinged legs stepping rhythmically in high heels.

"Sis, you're gorgeous!"

Sasame's praise was genuine.

"Enough, let's go."

Tsunade felt a bit awkward—the dress was too tight.

Sasame immediately summoned Katsuyu.

Reverse Summoning Jutsu.

They appeared on a beach.

Before them stretched endless blue ocean; behind them lay a small, uninhabited island.

"You really prepared well."

Tsunade spotted the arranged beach chairs and unceremoniously claimed one.

The way she reclined rivaled the beauty of the waves.

"Sis, don't you think the qipao is a bit… inappropriate?"

Sasame feigned innocence.

Tsunade narrowed her eyes, rolling onto her side to face him.

Her golden hair shimmered in the sunlight, the qipao's slit sliding further open to reveal more of her thighs.

"Just say it. What's your real goal after all this circling?"

She gave him a knowing look.

"It's summer, and we're at the beach… so I got you a swimsuit."

Sasame braced himself and presented his gift.

"Tch."

Tsunade scoffed. "I knew you were up to no good. 'Celebrating my birthday'? You just wanted to see me in a swimsuit."

"Not true! I just think someone as beautiful as you should try different styles!"

Even caught red-handed, Sasame remained unshaken.

Tsunade blinked, then burst out laughing.

Calling me beautiful? Flattering.

But that stubborn denial? Unacceptable.

She crooked a finger. "Let me see it."

Sasame eagerly handed it over.

"..."

Tsunade's face stiffened.

This counts as a swimsuit?!

triangle bikini with straps.

Her cheeks flushed, her fist already clenching—then wham!—straight onto Sasame's head.

"Ow!"

Sasame collapsed dramatically. "I'm injured! Compensation!"

Faking injuries? A professional move.

Tsunade rolled her eyes.

I barely used any force. Such an actor.

If it were a normal swimsuit, she might've considered it.

But this was downright shameless.

"Keep dreaming."

She ignored him, lying back to bask under the sun.

Sasame got up—the sand was too hot anyway.

He wasn't discouraged. The day was long, and opportunities remained.

"Sis, try this."

He pulled out bubble tea—a hit from his past life.

"What's this?"

Tsunade eyed the milky drink suspiciously. She didn't recall any Konoha shops selling it.

"Homemade. Guaranteed delicious."

Sasame patted his chest confidently.

Tsunade took a sip—and her eyes lit up.

Sweet. Creamy. Surprisingly good.

She exhaled in satisfaction, her usual Hokage tension melting away into pure relaxation.

Sasame admired her legs under the sunlight—every curve toned, every inch of skin flawless.

Paired with the qipao? Irresistible.

A swimsuit would've been perfect, though.

His expression turned regretful.

"So quiet here."

Tsunade set down the drink, stretching her arms. "Nothing but wind and waves. Nice."

For once, the memories of blood and fire faded.

A rare, peaceful moment.

And it all started when she met Sasame.

"Yeah, it's great."

Sasame agreed, adding honestly, "Especially being alone with you."

"Since when did you become such a smooth-talker?"

Tsunade smirked without looking at him. "You know what I thought when I first saw you?"

"What?"

Now he was curious.

"Pretty."

She mused. "Never seen a kid so good-looking. But what really caught me was you saying you'd be Hokage. Many said that before—especially Nawaki."

Sasame was surprised.

Tsunade had never brought up Nawaki around him.

This was a first.

Meaning she now saw him as the most important person in her life.

Otherwise, she wouldn't mention her dead brother.

"At first, I saw you as Nawaki. Does that bother you?"

She turned, her gaze complicated. "In some ways, you two are alike."

"No."

Sasame shook his head. "I was an orphan. Meeting you was my luck—I don't care who you saw me as."

(Sorry, Yakushi Nonō. Just playing the part for now.)

"You've always been well-behaved."

Tsunade sighed. "Just not as innocent as before."

"Me? Never."

He denied firmly.

"Liar."

She looked away, staring at the sea.

Without Sasame, she'd probably still be drowning in gambling and alcohol—numbing herself to forget the past.

"Sis, if you saw me as Nawaki at first… what about now?"

Sasame spotted the key question.

"Now?"

Tsunade froze, her face warming, heartbeat quickening.

"Sis, you're blushing."

Sasame pointed out.

"Sunburn."

She glared. "Go prepare lunch. I want grilled fish."

Sasame's face fell.

No reward, just chores?

Life's unfair.

While Sasame fished by the shore, Tsunade sat up, eyeing the swimsuit beside her.

After a moment's hesitation, she sighed.

"Fine. You win."

Sasame returned half an hour later with a bucket of fish—then froze.

Tsunade stood there in a daring white bikini, a wide-brimmed hat shading her face, her arms adorned with translucent lace.

She crossed her arms, biting her lower lip, her usually sharp brown eyes now soft and alluring.

Sasame swallowed hard.

Even better than imagined.

"Stop staring and cook!"

Tsunade glared—though with her flushed cheeks and that swimsuit, it lacked any threat.

Suppressing his male instincts, Sasame hurried to set up the grill.

Tsunade exhaled in relief.

For someone like her, those few seconds had felt like an eternity.

If only I knew Fire Release!

Sasame lamented his slow cooking speed.

"Sis, it's ready!"

He waved her over, eyes locked on her.

"..."

Face still red, Tsunade approached, one arm covering her chest as she sat cross-legged.

Sasame could only see the thin white straps.

"Got any alcohol?"

Her heart raced—she needed something to steady her nerves.

"Yep."

Sasame had come prepared.

He unsealed two bottles.

They drank.

And drank.

Soon, Tsunade was tipsy.

Sasame, however, was completely sober.

Turns out, having a Sage Body made alcohol useless.

Damn. Drinking's no fun now.

But then again…

This might be the perfect opportunity.

To act or not to act?

Tsunade looked up, her eyes hazy, defenses down, exuding an intoxicating charm.

She stood, stumbled into Sasame's arms, and reached for her cup—only to miss and instead press her lips against his.

Sweet. Warm. Soft.

Flavors exploded in his mouth as Tsunade deepened the kiss like a woman starved.

After what felt like forever, she lost balance and fell—

—only for Sasame to catch her.

"I'm… sleepy…"

She yawned, clinging to him as her eyes fluttered shut.

Moments later, a nightmare seized her. With a pained whimper, tears slipped free.

Sasame's heart ached. He gently patted her back.

"It's okay. I'm here."

Tsunade nodded silently.

But the nightmare dragged on—three long hours before it finally released her.

Nighttime.

Sasame woke up, his back sore from awkward sleeping positions.

Tsunade, exhausted from the nightmare, still slept soundly.

Moonlight draped over her curves, painting a tantalizing scene.

He wiped the sweat from her forehead with a handkerchief.

Having nightmares on her birthday… what a shame.

Suddenly, Tsunade's eyes opened—and she buried herself against his chest.

No words. Just silence.

Then, she pinched him.

"Aren't you tired?"

"Slept all afternoon. I'm full of energy."

He smirked, nodding toward the ocean. "Ready for round two?"

Tsunade's eyebrow twitched.

Such arrogance.

She shoved him away, sitting up and cracking her knuckles.

"Always so violent. Let me teach you a lesson!"

"No, sis! Have mercy!"

Sasame fought back valiantly—but lost.

By morning, he was bruised and battered, thoroughly disciplined.

They had planned to return the next day.

But Sasame, ever the opportunist, convinced Tsunade to stay two more days—exploring every corner of the island and leaving their mark everywhere.

To commemorate the trip, Sasame decided to turn the place into a private beach villa for future visits.

But all good things must end.

After their two-day-one-night escapade, it was back to Hokage duties for Tsunade—and back to grinding Fate Points for Sasame.

Ninja Academy.

Class wasn't over yet.

Sasame stood at the entrance, peering inside.

"Hey, your little hottie's here."

Haruno Sakura was the first to notice, nudging Yamanaka Ino.

"What hottie?"

Ino didn't even look up. "No guy is distracting me from studying right now."

"It's Sasame."

"Huh?!"

Ino whipped her head around, spotting him instantly.

If not for class, she'd have sprinted over.

Last time he visited the Yamanaka clan, she only found out afterward.

Regrets.

Even if he wasn't there for her, she still regretted missing him.

"Pfft."

Sakura smirked. "You've barely met him, yet you're this eager?"

Meanwhile, she saw Uchiha Sasuke every day—and had zero progress.

Life's unfair!

"You wouldn't understand. It's called love at first sight."

Ino flipped her golden ponytail smugly.

Sakura gritted her teeth.

"Class dismissed."

Iruka's announcement sent students bolting for the exits.

"Sas—"

Ino was fast—but someone was faster.

Uzumaki Naruto.

"Hah!"

Sakura cackled.

Good job, loser!

"Tch."

Ino shot her a glare.

Am I really competing with a guy for a guy now?!

Naruto, sensing the murderous aura behind him, broke into a cold sweat.

"Big bro, let's go!"

He tugged Sasame away urgently.

Sasame waved at the girls apologetically before leaving.

He had no time for small talk—Naruto's situation took priority.

"Naruto, do you know who your parents are?"

"You know?!"

Naruto's eyes widened in excitement.

He had asked everyone, but no one ever told him.

"I can take you to meet them."

Sasame placed a hand on his head. "Close your eyes. Don't resist."

Entering the Nine-Tails' seal space wasn't hard—especially not for Sasame now.
