CHAPTER 3 - The Billionaire's World

Pain.

It crawled up her spine like a living thing.

Seo Hana opened her eyes to the blinding glare of a crystal chandelier. She was… alive?

"Where… am I…?"

White silk sheets. Soft, clean. The scent of expensive cologne.

This wasn't Dae-Sik's dungeon.

The door creaked open.

And there he was.

The man from the road.

He stood like he owned the world. Black suit. Eyes cold enough to freeze oceans.

"Awake?"His voice was deep, sharp.

Hana flinched, pulling the covers tighter.

"You ran into my car, Miss…" he paused, expecting her name.

But she said nothing.

His gaze sharpened."Fine. Stay mute. I like quiet strays."

Stray.

That's what she was now.

"Where is this…?" she finally croaked.

"My home. And you owe me."

Owe him?For what? Saving her life? For not leaving her to die in the streets?

"I—I'll leave…"Hana tried to stand but collapsed.

Her legs were too weak.

The man sighed, like she was a nuisance in his perfect life.

"My mother has already seen you. She insists you stay until you recover," he said coldly, as if it annoyed him.

But Hana caught it—the flicker in his eyes when he mentioned his mother. A chink in his perfect armor.

She bit her lip.

"I'll work… I'll pay back the car damage…"The words tasted like humiliation.

The man stared at her for a long moment.

"Don't make me regret saving you," he finally said before leaving her alone in the room.

Seo Hana didn't know it yet—but she had just stepped into the world of Kang Joon-Hyuk.A man with his own scars.A man with his own war.

And somewhere in his mansion…A letter waited.A letter that would change everything.
