Friction and Fury

Liliana's Room

"I can't believe the plan failed," Preya muttered as she helped Liliana remove the dirt from her hair.

"Thanks to Malaya," Liliana added, "who wore a jacket and used it to tie around my waist to cover my underwear."

"The school blog is still on fire with the news," Malaya commented.

"I'm not going to stop here. Senorita must pay for this disgrace, I swear," Liliana said with hardened determination.

"You should calm down, Liliana. We'll make her pay for this," Preya whispered, her voice laced with quiet resolve.

Lake and Swan's Laughter

Lake and Swan couldn't stop laughing as they watched the video of what happened to Liliana earlier in class.

"That bitch has some nerve. I can't believe she wouldn't back down," Lake chuckled, shaking his head.

"Senorita, you escaped this time," Swan said with a sly grin.

Senorita smiled. "She's really getting on my nerves. I'll spare her this time because her plan already backfired on her."

"But the next time she tries something with me, I'll disfigure her face," Senorita said with a sly smile.

"She's too dumb," Lake remarked.

Senorita shrugged. "Well, I'll see you guys later. I'm going to start my project."

"Are you going to Sugar's house?" Swan asked cautiously.

Senorita scoffed. "Why would I go to his house? We're meeting at the library."

"Alright. We'll start ours, since I'm paired with Lake," Swan replied.

Senorita and Rowan's Encounter

Senorita made her way to the library when Rowan suddenly popped out of nowhere, blocking her path.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Did I scare you?" Rowan asked with a mischievous smile.

Senorita scoffed. "Scared me? My foot."

"What are you doing here this late at night?" he asked, leaning against the wall casually.

"Out of my way," Senorita snapped, irritated.

"I mean no harm, Senorita. I'm just worried about you," Rowan said, his tone softer now.

Senorita rolled her eyes. "Worried about me? I don't need your concerns. Besides, where I'm going is none of your business."

"Senorita, why are you always so mean? I just want us to be friends," Rowan said, his voice tinged with frustration.

"No," she replied sharply.

"Why can't you just think about it?" Rowan asked, his gaze pleading.

"I don't need to think about it, Rowan. I don't want to be your friend," Senorita said, turning to walk away.

"But I thought you hated bullies. I'm not a bully or anything, so please, think about it," he urged.

"Alright, fine. I'll think about it," she replied, rolling her eyes.

"When will I get an answer?" Rowan pressed.

"I don't know. I have to go now," she snapped. Without waiting for a response, she walked off, leaving Rowan standing there.

Swan and Sugar's Apology

Swan arrived at the library and saw Sugar already waiting. She took a seat and pulled out her books.

---

One Hour and Thirty Minutes Later

Senorita packed up her books as they finished the project.

"Good night," she muttered as she stood up to leave, but Sugar blocked her path.

"What do you want?" Senorita asked, her voice laced with annoyance.

"Rita, I know I supported Liliana without knowing what she did to you, but please... I'm sorry," Sugar said, looking genuinely remorseful.

"I was never angry at you, so why are you explaining yourself to me?" Senorita shot back.

"Because I see no reason for you to be angry at me. We aren't friends to begin with," he replied.

"Then why don't we become friends?" he asked, his tone sincere.

"You and I, friends? That can never happen. Even in your dreams," Senorita snapped.

"Why? Do you hate me that much?" Sugar asked, his voice edged with disbelief.

"Hate?" Senorita muttered. "If there's another word for hate, that's the one to use."

"I hate you so much, Sugar. I hate bullies, and you're one of them. I hate cassanovas, and you're still among them. So, yeah, I hate you."

"Look, this should be my last warning to you. Stay very far away from me, unless you want to find out how it's going to end," she added coldly.

Sugar smiled, unfazed. "Really? I've never been so sure about something like this."

"But you'll see, I'm not all the way you think I am."

"Yeah, I'm a bully and a cassanova, but I only bully those who deserve it."

"And I only break the hearts of girls who throw themselves at me. I don't force them."

"I've never forced anyone. But you seem to think that I do."

"But trust me, one day, we'll become friends. I mean it," Sugar said, his eyes earnest.

Senorita scoffed. "You're crazy. That'll only happen in your dreams."

"Sometimes dreams turn into reality, sweetheart," he replied, a glint of confidence in his eyes.

"So far, they've happened in my dreams. Who's to say it won't happen in reality?"

"One day, I might be among the people you trust the most," Sugar said with a smirk.

Senorita glared at him, unsure of how to respond, then walked away, leaving him with his words hanging in the air.

Sugar chuckled lightly.

Just as he turned to leave, someone blocked his path. Looking up, he found Rowan standing in front of him.

"Out of my way," Sugar snapped.

"What are you doing with Senorita?" Rowan demanded, his voice low and threatening.

"If she's your next prey, you better give up, because I'll kill you if you try anything with her," Rowan warned.

"If she's my prey or not, that's none of your business," Sugar said, his voice dripping with indifference.

"As a predator, I prey on anyone I like," he continued, eyeing Rowan with a smug look.

"And I think you have no say in this. So move out of my way," Sugar added.

"Sugar, I'm warning you. Stay away from her, unless..." Rowan's voice trailed off, dark and threatening.

"Unless what?" Sugar snapped, cutting him off.

"Too bad your threat doesn't scare me. If anything, it makes me want to do things that will make you even more mad," Sugar replied, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

"So, be warned," he added before turning and walking away.

Rowan clenched his fists, watching Sugar walk off with a mix of anger and frustration.

The Next Day

Senorita made her way to the management office after being summoned. "Mrs. Dog, you..." her words were cut off as she entered and came face-to-face with her mother.

"Mrs. what?" Emily Leo yelled in disbelief.

"You see, mother, I didn't mean it that way," Senorita said quickly, trying to explain.

"It's just... sometimes I mistake her for a dog because of the way she barks," Senorita finished with a smirk.

"Enough, Senorita. Now apologize to your principal," Emily snapped.

"Mother, I didn't do anything wrong," Senorita replied, rolling her eyes.

"Ignore her, Mrs. Leo," Mrs. Davis said, trying to calm the situation.

"Senorita, please have a seat," Mrs. Davis said, her voice more formal now.

Senorita scoffed. "You don't need to pretend to be kind just because my mother is here. We both know you're far from kind."

"Senorita, what the hell is your problem?" Emily snapped, her frustration clear.

"I didn't do anything, mother," Senorita replied nonchalantly.

"Just keep quiet," Emily barked, her patience running thin.

Senorita nodded, her eyes filled with defiance.

"Senorita, I called your mother here because of what you did to another student two days ago," Mrs. Davis said, her tone firm.

"She deserved whatever she got," Senorita snapped, crossing her arms.

"Senorita, you're going to apologize to her. That's final," Mrs. Davis insisted.

"Over my dead body, mother," Senorita shot back. "She deserves everything she got. She stepped in my way first, and I just gave her a taste of her own medicine."

"But sorry to disappoint you, mother, I will NEVER apologize to that bitch."

"Even if it means blocking my account? I don't care. I'm not apologizing."

"If you want us to stay on good terms, don't ever bring up me apologizing to her again, because I won't."

"And you, Mrs. Principal? Nice try bringing my mom here, but get ready to bring her more often, because if anyone steps in my way again... I'll make them regret it."

"Either you're the bully, or you're going to get bullied."

"I've been bullied enough, and now it's my turn to teach anyone a lesson," Senorita finished, her voice icy and cold.

With that, she turned on her heel and walked out, leaving a tense silence behind.

---

Emily sighed.

"I'm sorry for her rude behavior," she said, looking at Mrs. Davis with regret.

"It's just... she's had a hard childhood. But I'll try talking to her," Emily added quietly.

"It's okay, Mrs. Leo," Mrs. Davis replied, trying to reassure her.
