Caleb read through the entire system notification.
The smiley face from the system at the end gave him a slight cringe.
"That smile after telling me to seduce a woman?... To seduce her?"
'The penalties..... I can't fail the mission else I'll be back on track 'death' So I'm going with a seducing streak?'
He looked through the window, catching Naya's features.
Her curves were visible through the black gown that hugged her figure.
Her gold-blonde hair lay smoothly over her shoulders.
Her sharp gaze was hidden behind deep black sunshades.
She glanced toward Herald with a sharp, predatory gaze that held him in place.
Without even getting close to her, he instantly recognized her!
Who wouldn't?
Naya Lucy!
She was the famous fashion empire heiress and Instagram goddess with 200M followers.
Her influence on the fashion industry was widely spread.
She calmly pulled off her shades, revealing her sharp brown eyes.
She locked her gaze on Herald.
"Anything?" she asked, disdain dripping from her voice.
She clearly didn't see the common secretary as someone who was on par with her.
Herald stopped in his tracks after realizing who she was. He was on no equal standing with the popular fashion queen, but even then… he wasn't going to let his master's son be treated so casually.
"Miss Naya, it seems your driver has no sense of direction. He simply waltzed past the car, endangering the young master's life!"
He had already stepped up to protect the young master's rights, and there was no turning back.
Although he wasn't on equal standing with her, his boss had much more influence than she did—thus his confidence.
"Young master? What's that?" Naya calmly looked toward Caleb's figure.
'Hmm, isn't that the average boy from college?... How did he suddenly get a car?... And then there's this man, calling him a young master?' Naya thought to herself, looking from Herald to Caleb once more.
She casually looked away after some time, tossing a card toward Herald.
"That's my business card. Call if there were any damages done to your master's car," she said nonchalantly as she walked past the dazed Herald.
Herald was completely stunned by her attitude.
He wanted to chase after her, but seeing the two huge men dressed in black who followed behind her, he decided against it.
He walked back to the car, slightly ashamed that he had been unable to do much, thanks to her status.
"I'm sorry, young master. I'll make sure the boss hears about what happened here today. He's sure to deal with her accordingly," Herald said, bowing his head slightly.
"Don't worry about it..." Caleb said immediately, waving his hand dismissively.
He didn't want anything ruining his opportunity. In fact, what had just happened was a good opportunity to show him exactly what he was going to deal with.
'I guess getting her would be a bit difficult…' Caleb thought to himself.
"Are you sure?" Herald asked, a bit surprised. Well, from time, Caleb wasn't the type to use his father's powers and influence like his other siblings. But still, they had almost crashed. If it weren't for his sharp senses, which helped him pull over just in time, the sounds of the party music would have been drowned by the blaring sirens of an ambulance.
"Yes... I'm fine, so it's nothing serious," Caleb replied carefreely.
He was more interested in Naya at the moment.
And he was cooking up the best way to approach her.
"Very well, young master… We've arrived at your location," Herald said, pulling the car door open.
Caleb stepped down from the car, drawing in the chill air.
'I guess it's time…' He walked toward the entrance of the party hall, but midway in, he could already see Gideon's figure.
And the shocked look on his block-shaped face made Caleb's laugh shake his bones.
"Oh oh oh, I get it… Turning up with a Lamborghini right during the last grad party? Real nice, playing me dirty," Gideon said, still shocked.
He had been waiting right in front of the venue for Caleb to come. He had witnessed everything that happened.
"Calm down, I can explain," Caleb said with a chuckle.
"Explain? What happened to 'I'm not interested in my father's wealth, I just want to live a simple life?'" Gideon said in a mimicry tone.
Caleb couldn't hold back the laughter looking at Gideon's face.
The way he posed his face when making certain expressions was enough to make him laugh.
A facial comedian, if Caleb were to put it in words.
But there was a good side to his behavior.
It clearly showed one thing… Gideon wasn't the type who would be too keen on behavioral changes.
And that… That was a great opportunity for Caleb.
"Y'know, if I knew you were such a sly one, I swear I would've used you to hit on Amanda back then," Gideon said as they continued their walk into the party hall, the sounds of music booming through the entire space.
"I always knew you were going to change your mind… There's no freaking way you wanted to live like that!"
Caleb smiled. That was his opportunity.
He grabbed a cup of wine from the passing waitress, taking a sip.
"Well, you're right… I've finally decided. I'll be starting up my own business and will compete with my siblings for my father's inheritance."
"Yeah, I know, you'll just use your dad's wealth… WAIT, WHAT?!"
