Grand plan

".....Wait, what?! Do you know what you're saying?" Gideon almost choked on his words when he heard Caleb.

"Hell no, you sure a monster didn't get to you while you were asleep? Did you hit your head somewhere?"

Caleb smiled.

'Well, he isn't the observant type, but it would have been quite disappointing if he didn't notice anything at all.'

"Yes, I know what I'm saying... and no, I didn't hit my head anywhere," Caleb said calmly, walking over to the bar table, where they could sit down and talk better.

The music from the speakers was also dull around that area, so they could hear themselves better.

Caleb sat on one of the stools, looking at the girls and boys dancing and having fun.

The sight took him down memory lane, remembering his own last college party.

He downed a cup of alcohol, throwing the thought to the back of his mind completely.

Gideon, on the other hand, was still a bit confused, still trying to process what Caleb was implying.

"Then what's the entire point of living a simple life all this time? You should have just started from the get-go. How the hell do you want to reach any of your siblings?" Gideon asked.

Back then, when he learned of Caleb's actual identity, he was really curious as to why he wanted to live a simple life when he had opportunities that many would kill for.

Caleb had told him that he wasn't interested in the sibling rivalry, and he didn't want anything to do with his father, who had been rude to their mom...

It was simply a childish trauma from the way the father had treated his mom.

Thanks to that, Caleb never wanted anything to do with his father's wealth and also didn't want to enter any fights with his siblings.

So he decided to stay away from the entire rally.

Gideon, as someone who loved money quite a lot, understood very well his predicament. But the only thing he was against was the fact that Caleb didn't make use of his father's money at all.

He had a saying he usually used:

'It's your dad who is filthy, not his money.'

But Caleb was still reluctant to use any money from his father.

Despite the fact that he had been given a credit card by his father's secretary, one that was stacked with loads of cash...

Caleb barely used it, surviving on the little his mom had left for him.

Yes, before her death, she passed on her entire account to her last-born son, her darling Caleb.

Thanks to that, he never used that of his father.

Gideon's worry then was the fact that the money would eventually finish... True, but the money was still enough to carry him thus far, since he didn't really have any primary needs.

But now, he had suddenly decided to join?

That definitely sounded 'sus' to Gideon.

"What's the reason behind your decision?" Gideon asked, still stunned.

Of course, Caleb already knew all of this, and beforehand, he had cooked up the best reply to give.

"Well, I figured living on my mom's account wouldn't be too wise... and whatever I'm doing definitely isn't going to shake that old man. So rather than do that, I'll grow my own business empire, and from there, I'll make him recognize me. If he passes on his wealth to me, I'll make him regret everything he did to my mom," Caleb clenched his fist tightly.

His eyes narrowed, anger visible, even though it only lasted a few seconds.

He didn't know why, but ever since he had entered into Caleb's body, he could feel the same anger he held towards his father.

He felt the same pain that the real Caleb also felt.

The only way to be satisfied was to help that soul also get the revenge it craved for.

He was going to use the old man's wealth to crush him!

That was the plan...

Hearing him, Gideon paused, absorbing the weight of his words.

'Now he'll automatically take in my new attitude as well... Perfect work done.'

After what looked like a complete hour of thought, Gideon let out a sigh.

"Wow. Just wow. I never knew you had it in you... Honestly."

"But how do you plan on achieving this? How do you want to beat your elder siblings to the game?" Gideon asked, his interest piqued.

He knew just how far he was from the rest of his siblings....

Caleb scanned the crowd till his eyes fell on Naya Lucy, who was upstairs in the VIP section of the building.

Gideon's eyes followed his... looking up.

"Naya Lucy? What does she have to do with all of this? Bro! You've got nothing compared to your siblings... What does that have to do with Naya?" Gideon asked, confused, feeling more convinced that Caleb might have actually hit his head somewhere.

Caleb wasn't going to tell him about the 10X Rebate System that gave him 10X the wealth of whichever female cardholders he seduced, but then, he had already thought through to that point as well.

Caleb smiled.

"Exactly. What part does Naya Lucy have to do with all of this?.... Gideon, I'll seduce Naya Lucy... then I'll use her influence and power to grow mine."

"Seduce? You've gotta be joking with me. How the hell do you even want to achieve that? How will you even get to her?"

Caleb stood up, patting his dear friend on the shoulder.

"There's a major difference between the rich and the poor, my dear friend... Do you know what it is?" Caleb asked, walking towards the VIP stairs.

"Come on, we all know it's 'cause they have money," Gideon said with a face that asked, 'what the hell?'

"Well, you're right... but that's not the only thing. Let's take Naya for example—she's a fashion empress, known for her classic beauty. But what separates her from all the other models?"

With Caleb's words, it clicked in Gideon's head.

"The companies she works with... the people she knows."

"Exactly. The rich know the right people to meet... They know those who can grow their own market... They use people as assets to get what they want. That is, of course, if they see what they want in you."

They both reached the VIP staircase.

"So wait, you want to...."
